High orbit above Callisto.

A small, black, fragment-like meteorite suddenly split in two. As if a spring had been fitted between them, the two halves bounced eerily away from each other, both veering off their original trajectory.

Just then, something seemed to strike one of the fragments. A patch of distorted light rippled through the previously empty space, briefly revealing part of a mechanical structure. The distortion quickly swallowed that half of the fragment, then vanished again moments later.

After colliding with the fragment, the invisible object sped away. It had no idea that it now carried a "louse" with ill intentions...

After several satellites exposed their approximate orbits and coordinates by initiating attacks, the great net Nie Yun had cast finally caught its first big fish!

Those satellites that had sacrificed themselves so heroically were the bait Nie Yun had scattered!

On the bridge of the Gemini Civilization's Ranger.

A monitoring officer suddenly received an anomaly alert from the AI Core: one of their Reconnaissance Satellites had briefly lost contact.

The Gemini Civilization was not the Earth Civilization. It used mature quantum communication technology, which ordinary cosmic radiation could not disrupt. Such incidents were therefore uncommon, especially during wartime!

The monitoring officer remained highly vigilant. He immediately ordered the satellite to perform a comprehensive self-check and transmit the agreed quantum Secret Key to verify its identity.

The response soon arrived, and to his relief... everything was normal!

The Secret Key was correct! The self-check showed no abnormalities whatsoever!

Even if someone had breached the satellite's control system, they could never crack the quantum Secret Key inside its control hub in such a short time. A comprehensive self-check would also reveal at least some traces of the intruder. At least... to his knowledge, no such impossibly powerful infiltration technology
