While Viscount Ironwall cursed inwardly, the Legendary Mecha on the screens had already begun to move.
With their overwhelming superiority, they showed exactly what it meant to sweep through unopposed. Explosions erupted everywhere, debris flew, and the monitoring feeds before everyone went dark one after another...
Clearly, the cheap cannon fodder meant to defend against ordinary intrusions was no match for Legendary Mecha. It could not even pose a threat to them.
That single layer of shielding alone left the defenders helpless.
What the Legendary Mecha did next was even more jaw-dropping.
They cut through everything in their path without slowing, heading straight for the rear. Sheltered beneath their unbreakable turtle shells... they plunged headfirst into the searing exhaust nozzles!
A ravaged rear, wounds strewn everywhere; fallen petals and broken hearts.
Viscount Ironwall grimaced.
They were clever, but their enemies were no fools either. They were going straight for the weak spot!
Ordinary weapons of war could not advance through temperatures exceeding ten million degrees and powerful opposing currents, but Legendary Mecha hardly counted as ordinary weapons.
It looked like those five Demon-Breaking Crossbow bolts were done for.
Sure enough, before long, amid roars and explosions, all five High-Power Thrusters began smoking and sputtered out.
Yet rather than looking disappointed, Viscount Ironwall shook his head and chuckled.
"A surprise force indeed, and quite an unexpected one. But the price was a little too high."
Barely had Viscount Ironwall finished speaking when five enormous fireballs suddenly erupted in
