This included, but was not limited to, the Central Doctrine District beneath St. Freya being filled with Cecilia Clones; Old Yang's original characterization being that of a complete sickly wreck; Himeko's original persona being a trashy woman; and the Herrscher of Reason's original setting in the manga, where he controlled gravity... all sorts of bizarre plotlines.
For various reasons, even Old Mi couldn't stand that awful plot anymore, so he retconned it out of existence.
Along with it, he also rewrote all the content from Chapter One of the Honkai Impact 3rd game itself.
Still, this manga couldn't be said to have had no redeeming qualities at all.
At the very least, things like how Kiana's first S-rank battlesuit, Moonlight, came about; the beginning and end of Scarlet Sakura Cycle; and the causes and consequences of the Xuanyuan Chapter were all filled in by the manga.
And the setting for the Joyce Clone from this manga seemed to have been remembered by Mihoyo's writers later on, which gave them the Little Qiao everyone was more familiar with—Old Yang's son.
(Going by that logic, Old Yang's current setting in Honkai: Star Rail should be abandoning his wife and child, quitting his job, and traveling all over the universe?)
Still, this character had only appeared twice in the manga, and both times he had been little more than a punching bag for Valkyries. When Mo Wang first saw him, he had nearly failed to remember who he even was.
Honestly, there were probably fewer than five characters in all of Honkai who were more obscure than this guy.
"Mo Wang... he really seems angry."
Kiana, who had already gotten back to her feet, looked at Mo Wang in the distance and said blankly.
After all this time, it seemed this was the first time they had ever seen Mo Wang this angry.
"You bastard!" the Joyce Clone roared. The blue light in his eyes grew increasingly brilliant, as if he intended to turn all his fury into power.
The instant he went all out, veins bulged across his forehead. Blood began flowing uncontrollably from his nose, staining his pale cheeks red.
At that moment, the surrounding air seemed to grow heavy. Blue energy condensed around him, forming a powerful gravitational wave that swept toward Mo Wang.
As the gravity descended, Mo Wang suddenly felt an enormous oppressive force, as though the weight of the entire world had tilted down upon him.
His feet were forcibly dragged into the ground. The earth beneath him let out faint cracks, dust flew everywhere, and the surrounding scenery warped under that force.
"This is bad!"
When the three girls saw Mo Wang trapped by the other man's power, panic appeared on their faces as well.
"See that?! This is the power of the Leader of Anti-Entropy! All of you, just die!" The Joyce Clone's face twisted in rage, his violent emotions nearly robbing him of his sanity.
As he continuously increased his power, veins bulged across his forehead. Bright red blood streamed from his nose, eyes, and ears, staining his crazed face and making him look like a demon that had lost all reason.
Even the surrounding space began to distort under the force of gravity.
However, the pained expression the Joyce Clone had been expecting from Mo Wang never appeared.
Instead, Mo Wang almost wanted to laugh at the gravity surrounding him.
"The Leader of Anti-Entropy's power? This little bit of power is nothing. The Leader of Anti-Entropy I know is dozens of times stronger than you!" Mo Wang suddenly shouted at the Joyce Clone before him.
As his roar rang out, the Joyce Clone's expression instantly turned terrified, as if he could not believe what he was seeing.
At that moment, Mo Wang actually began moving his body.
Boosted by Reinforcement Magic, he was now even ignoring the gravity around him.
"Mere gravity—how could it possibly contend with this body tempered through countless trials, damn it!" Mo Wang actually relied on the strength of his body alone to pull his legs out of the ground. Dirt and shattered stones broke apart beneath his feet and scattered in every direction.
"Is this guy a monster?!" As he watched Mo Wang walk toward him step by step, even the Joyce Clone was utterly terrified.
With him using his power at full force, the force acting on this guy had to be at least ten times normal gravity.
Yet Mo Wang was forcibly walking toward him step by step with nothing but his physical body. At least, that was how it looked to him.
Where had this Super Saiyan come from?
"Y-you, don't come any closer!"
Even though he had pushed his own power to its limit, the Joyce Clone still could not halt Mo Wang's footsteps in the slightest.
"Then just grit your teeth and endure it, you bastard!"
Mo Wang suddenly threw a punch forward. In that instant, the Joyce Clone's body shot into the air.
"ORA ORA ORA ORA!!!"
Mo Wang's fists became like machine guns, continuously raining down upon the other man's body.
Blood began spilling endlessly from the Joyce Clone's body.
Though the pain was unbearable, he discovered in terror that he had no way to break free from Mo Wang's fists.
"Rising Dragon... Fist!"
After unleashing Ora for a full three pages, Mo Wang finally clenched his fist.
Blazing flames wrapped around his right hand, as if calling out for victory!
"Boom!"
As the Rising Dragon Fist fiercely struck his opponent in the abdomen—
The Joyce Clone was sent flying into the sky.

The Joyce Clone that Mo Wang had punched into the sky took a full thirty seconds before finally falling back to the ground.
Even so, the guy still had not died.
To be fair, although this clone was not particularly strong, his durability was indeed absurd.
But considering that he had been cloned using a Herrscher's genes, Mo Wang felt that this level of toughness was not impossible.
"Damn it! This can't be possible?! Why did I lose to mere children?! Aren't I the Leader of Anti-Entropy?"
After getting beaten up by Mo Wang, the Joyce Clone had clearly fallen into self-doubt.
He looked even more unhinged than before.
"Just what did Cocolia put into these clones when she made them? He's nothing like the First Herrscher of Reason."
Looking at the clone before him, Mo Wang had no idea whether Cocolia had mixed some strange stuff into the cloning process or simply forgotten to give him a brain.
Otherwise, why had the First Herrscher of Reason, such a fine young man who could have become the male lead of Honkai with just a protagonist's halo, been cloned into this kind of idiot?
Calling him a combination of Cu Chulainn and Golden Gilgamesh would almost be a compliment.
"Bastard! Anti-Entropy mechs! Get out here!"
After this Joyce Clone barely climbed up from the ground, the sight of Mo Wang's smug face instantly made him even angrier.
He had never had much of a brain to begin with, and now it was as though he had downed eight pounds of Red Bull. He was just one impulsive thought away from charging off on some reckless adventure.
Still, even if his brain had short-circuited, the order he gave was successfully carried out.
Thirty Anti-Entropy mechs instantly descended upon St. Freya from the sky.
The sudden arrival of the mechs immediately caused a massive commotion throughout the school.
"Titan Mechs?! And this many? Just how much money has Anti-Entropy made to be able to build so many of these things?"
The sight of so many Anti-Entropy mechs made Mo Wang drool with envy... Pah! He was stunned!
Thinking back to their last trip to Canghai City, they had dismantled at least a hundred of Cocolia's mechs. Yet it had only been a few days, and she had already pulled out another thirty.
Was Anti-Entropy really this rich?
His yearly salary was probably enough to buy a Titan's cockpit, while they could already use Titans as cannon fodder.
Seriously, comparisons were enough to make a person mad!
"Heh... hahahahaha!" Seeing this, the Joyce Clone let out the same laugh as Golden Gilgamesh.
Unfortunately, no matter how he laughed, he could only ever be a joker, never Golden Gilgamesh.
"Now, the Third Herrscher, the Valkyrkies—none of that matters anymore!"
"Since you St. Freya bastards dared treat me like this, then! Under the wrath of the Leader of Anti-Entropy, turn completely to ash!"
"Tell me, isn't living a good thing?"
Yet Mo Wang merely asked the Joyce Clone that question calmly.
"What did you say?"
The Joyce Clone was stunned by Mo Wang's words.
Faced with the suddenly approaching Anti-Entropy mechs, there was not a trace of anxiety on Mo Wang's face.
He did not even intend to stop them.
Honestly, did thirty mechs really think they could breach St. Freya?
Only this brain-dead clone would dare imagine such a thing.
Even considering only its publicly known combat strength, St. Freya possessed an overwhelmingly powerful lineup of one S-rank and two A-ranks.
Looking across all of Schicksal, it was the strongest branch aside from headquarters.
Even after Kiana had been taken away, and even with Fu Hua standing on the Bishop's side, Theresa had still dared use that lineup to attack headquarters.
Over the years, Otto had given Theresa plenty of special treatment.
If just thirty mechs could take them down, Otto himself would suspect Anti-Entropy of cheating.
"Thirty mechs aren't a problem. But you... you won't be leaving St. Freya alive today."
At that moment, the Joyce Clone unconsciously took a step back, and a powerful sense of unease suddenly rose within him.
His gaze locked tightly onto Mo Wang. He felt an overwhelming pressure surge toward him like a tide.
"Why is this happening?" He stared at Mo Wang in uncertainty and alarm, yet the answer gradually emerged through the changes before his eyes.
As Mo Wang's aura continuously intensified, a dark crimson radiance began spreading around him, as if even the air itself had been dyed blood-red.
In that instant, the Joyce Clone felt an indescribable terror, as though his body had already been enveloped by killing intent.
It felt as if countless sharp gazes had locked onto him. The oppressive sensation was suffocating, as though the entire world were declaring danger upon him.
Mo Wang's figure, meanwhile, appeared increasingly terrifying beneath that dark crimson aura.
His face blurred in the dim light and shadow, emanating an eerie and horrifying presence that made one instinctively want to flee. The Joyce Clone felt that the opponent before him no longer seemed like a simple human, but something far beyond his understanding.
"Demon God!"
Before long, that word surfaced uncontrollably from the deepest part of the Joyce Clone's heart.
"Originally, I was extremely reluctant to use this power. But to keep you from continuing to hurt them, I can only let you experience the killing intent of this world."
The Wave of Killing Intent.
It was a terrifying power that every person who cultivated Hadoken would encounter once they reached a certain level.
If one failed to master this power, they would be dominated by it and become a Demon God that knew only slaughter.
Every mentor who taught Hadoken would warn their students never to attempt to use this power.
Even in Kido Kenpo Karate, which had been passed down for centuries, only Gouki and Ryu had ultimately mastered this power.
Although the special constitution he had received from the Street Fighter big shot meant he would not be dominated by this force—
Mo Wang still instinctively did not want to use this nearly destructive power.
But today, Mo Wang chose without hesitation to wield this forbidden power that he normally rejected.
At first, Mo Wang had always been puzzled as to why The Hunt had chosen him.
After all, a worthless salted fish like him seemed completely unrelated to the guardian deity of the Xianzhou.
Yet only later did Mo Wang finally understand everything.
From the perspective of its Path, The Hunt did not lean toward the nearly crazed slaughter of Destruction. Instead, it was more inclined toward The Preservation.
However, the way The Hunt protected things was vastly different from The Preservation.
The Hunt was more inclined to use slaughter to protect what was important to itself.
The moment he saw his constellation, Mo Wang vaguely glimpsed the heart of the Aeon of The Hunt.
On the day it became an Aeon, its heart had not been filled solely with hatred toward Abundance.
More than that, it had been driven by the will to protect what was important to it. That was why followers of The Hunt would always unhesitatingly offer up their lives for the things they held dear.
And Mo Wang likewise possessed the will to protect St. Freya, protect the Valkyries, and protect the three girls.
