"Just messing with you!" Mo Wang burst out laughing and casually stuffed the oil-based pen back into his pocket. The nasty smile on his face vanished in an instant, and his tone turned brisk and efficient. "Now hurry up and tell me. Where's your boss?"
Suzy snapped back to her senses the moment she heard that.
"You're looking for Chu Zihang?!"
"Oh? So your boss is Chu Zihang, huh~" Mo Wang said to Suzy, now pretending he had no idea about anything.
The moment Suzy heard Mo Wang asking after Chu Zihang's whereabouts, she immediately straightened her back. Though she was still being suppressed, her gaze suddenly sharpened. "Don't even dream of it! I'll never let you go find him!"
At that moment, she looked like a female knight about to face a heroic martyrdom. Though her face was still a little pale from the fright just now, her brows were filled with unwavering resolve.
Mo Wang said nothing. He only silently took out that fade-resistant oil-based pen again, its tip reflecting a cold glint beneath the light.
Suzy's face went even whiter with a swish. She instinctively squeezed her eyes shut and clenched her teeth, but still forced a few words out through them. "...Not a chance!"
