He looked up, and his steps instantly stopped, the corners of his mouth rising uncontrollably.
There stood the Student Union president, Caesar Gattuso, that glittering, aristocratic leader who usually looked as if he came wrapped in gold, now wearing a plain apron that clashed horribly with him and holding what looked like an expensive Iberian ham.
Caesar looked up and saw Mo Wang too, and his brows immediately knotted together.
Mo Wang burst out laughing, his tone rising high. "Well, well? Isn't this our noble Student Union president? Since when did you change jobs and become a househusband? That look... pretty distinctive!"
Caesar shot him an irritated glare, his voice stiff. "Who do you think is to blame for this?"
As he spoke, he walked to the dorm room beside him and pushed the door open.
The door had only opened a crack when Chu Zihang's signature calm voice came from inside. "You bought the ingredients?"
Mo Wang's curiosity stirred, and he poked his head in for a look—damn, this dorm room was lively!
Aside from Chu Zihang, who was facing the door, Nono and Suzy were sitting on the sofa.
Nono had her legs crossed as she flipped through a magazine, while Suzy was looking down and handling some documents.
Their gazes all swept toward the doorway at once. When they saw Mo Wang behind Caesar, aside from Chu Zihang, who remained as expressionless as ever, Nono and Suzy's faces clearly had the word "disgust" written all over them.
Nono was even more direct. "Why is this guy here?"
Mo Wang shook his head without a care and said with a grin, "I'm still your neighbor across the hall, aren't I? What's wrong with dropping by? Speaking of which, what's going on here? Are you all... holding a mixer?"
