Chapter Summaries

Xianyun rescued Shenhe from disguised Fatui, but La Signora struck Xianyun down and taunted her. Mo Wang had followed La Signora up the mountain and now sneaked behind her with a stick as Shenhe watched.

• Xianyun arrived to protect Shenhe and blasted the Millelith commander and soldiers with wind blades.
• La Signora attacked Xianyun with evil elemental energy, then dismissed the fallen commander and promoted one of her soldiers.
• Xianyun realized the soldiers were Fatui in disguise, while Shenhe spotted a masked figure sneaking up behind La Signora with a stick.
• Half an hour earlier, Mo Wang had spotted La Signora heading up the mountain and told Paimon and Hu Tao that she was over five hundred years old.
• Mo Wang led Paimon and Hu Tao after La Signora, and Hu Tao suspected the Fatui might attack an Adeptus and frame them.

Mo Wang infiltrated La Signora’s Fatui forces and uncovered her plan to kill Xianyun and frame the Liyue Qixing. He knocked out La Signora from behind, leaving the Fatui, Shenhe, and Xianyun stunned.

• Hu Tao suggested attacking La Signora’s forces, but Mo Wang disguised himself as a Fatui instead.
• Mo Wang learned from an Electro Cicin Mage that La Signora’s target was Ganyu and that she wanted to provoke the Adepti.

Mo Wang confronted La Signora in Jueyun Karst and overpowered her while her Fatui subordinates hesitated to intervene. Zhongli, Hu Tao, Mimi, and Paimon joined the fight, and La Signora tried to flee before Mimi blocked her path and faced her flames.

• Mo Wang revealed himself to La Signora, destroyed her attacks, and beat her until she spat blood.
• The Fatui recognized Mo Wang as the man who had defeated Childe's team and La Signora in Mondstadt, but they initially refused to help her.
• Mo Wang mocked La Signora about a supposed three-million-Mora bounty on Xianyun, angering both La Signora and Xianyun.

Zhongli began explaining Liyue’s brewing crisis as Mo Wang, Hu Tao, and the others rounded up the Fatui, until a group of Millelith arrived and Paimon accused them of being disguised Fatui.

• Hu Tao told Xianyun that the Fatui had attacked and that Rex Lapis had supposedly died, and Xianyun recognized Zhongli as the Emperor.
• Zhongli said he had summoned the other Adepti, and Mountain Shaper arrived stripped of his feathers while Xianyun confronted Cloud Retainer for mocking them.
• Zhongli explained to the three Adepti that a major crisis threatened Liyue Harbor and was connected to his staged death and withdrawal.
• Mo Wang and Hu Tao gathered more than thirty captured Fatui, including La Signora, while Mo Wang debated whether to take them to Wangshu Inn.
• A group of Millelith soldiers arrived, and Paimon accused them of being Fatui in disguise after she spotted fallen Fatui wearing Millelith uniforms.

Mo Wang learned that Keqing and Yelan had been captured at Guyun Stone Forest, where the Fatui had awakened Aha, who posed as the Joyful Archon. Aha planned to use Scaramouche and the Fatui to force Mo Wang to play with him.

• A Millelith commander arrived with Ningguang’s sealed document and reported that the Fatui had captured Keqing and Yelan at Guyun Stone Forest.
• The commander said the Fatui were struggling against someone called the Joyful Archon, and Mo Wang realized the trouble was waiting for him.
• At Guyun Stone Forest, Fatui soldiers dug through the rocks under Scaramouche’s orders, unaware that they were disturbing a buried seal.
• Aha emerged from the fissure, claimed to be the Joyful Archon, and overwhelmed the Fatui with his presence.

Aha revealed Scaramouche’s desire to become a god, then offered him power in exchange for believing in her. Scaramouche accepted without hesitation, and as someone approached, he turned his attention toward the Fatui with dangerous intent.

Liyue’s advance force arrived at Guyun Stone Forest and was caught in Scaramouche’s trap, where his new Elation power poisoned the soldiers and began driving them mad. Keqing struck what seemed to be Scaramouche, but he revealed another illusion and prepared a counterattack as the battle continued.

• Yelan and Keqing discussed Scaramouche, the blond Mo Wang, and the risks of his plans against the Adepti as they approached Guyun Stone Forest.
• A burst of Aha’s power alarmed the Liyue force, and Yelan and Keqing rushed toward its source.
• Yelan and Keqing found the Fatui unconscious, but Scaramouche emerged from purple mist and revealed that his Elation power had poisoned the area.
• The affected Millelith and Fatui attacked their companions, while Keqing and Yelan fought Scaramouche and discovered their strikes had hit an illusion.

Scaramouche used Aha’s power to poison and incapacitate Yelan, Keqing, and the surrounding forces while Aha prepared for his next move in Liyue. Ningguang learned that Mo Wang had returned with the Adepti, but was stunned by Cloud Retainer and Mountain Shaper’s battered condition as Mo Wang demanded his twelve million.

• Scaramouche unleashed poison with Aha’s power, leaving Yelan, Keqing, the Fatui, and the Millelith collapsed.
• Aha mocked Scaramouche’s use of Elation and looked toward Liyue Harbor, anticipating the next part of his plan.
• Ningguang continued working after three sleepless days and learned that Mo Wang had returned with Mountain Shaper, Cloud Retainer, and Ganyu.
• Ningguang saw Cloud Retainer and Mountain Shaper’s battered appearances and asked Mo Wang what had happened.

After Mimi warned him about Aha’s past Emanator, Mo Wang explained what Aeons were to Ningguang and Paimon.

• Mo Wang returned with the Adepti and a captured Fatui Harbinger and group of Fatui, then asked Ningguang for the rest of his payment.
• Ningguang offered Mo Wang one hundred million Mora to deal with the Archon in Guyun Stone Forest, but he refused and demanded a far higher sum.
• Zhongli recognized that Mo Wang feared the supposed Archon, while Ningguang struggled to afford his proposed five hundred million Mora fee.
• Mimi pleaded with Mo Wang not to confront Aha, warning him that Aha had killed a previous Emanator.
• Mo Wang explained to Ningguang and Paimon that Aeons were powerful beings among the stars who embodied Paths, and that Aha represented Elation.

Mo Wang explained the Aeons’ overwhelming power and agreed to help Liyue face Aha after Zhongli asked him in Morax’s name. In Liyue’s prison, Childe complained about his restraints as Mo Wang teased him about getting used to prison life.

• Mo Wang showed everyone a memory of Lan destroying an army and a planet with one arrow, then explained that Aha was among the most dangerous Aeons.
• Mo Wang estimated that Aha’s avatar might be as powerful as the Heavenly Principles, alarming everyone in Liyue.

Mo Wang persuaded Tartaglia to sign an agreement to help Liyue fight Scaramouche, who had betrayed the Fatui and allied with an Archon. As they set out for Guyun Stone Forest, Tartaglia discovered Mo Wang had brought no one else and realized he had been tricked.

• Mo Wang brought La Signora and a group of Fatui prisoners to Childe, then told him Scaramouche had betrayed the Fatui and abandoned his subordinates.
• Mo Wang taunted Childe about being afraid to fight an Archon until Childe agreed to help deal with Scaramouche.
• Mo Wang produced a voluntary assistance agreement, and Childe signed it in exchange for learning where Mo Wang had gotten his drink from outside Teyvat.

Mo Wang and Childe raced to Jueyun Karst, where they fought through a vast monster horde and Mo Wang revealed overwhelming power. As they advanced, Childe watched Mo Wang effortlessly destroy even powerful enemies and realized the gap between them.

• Mo Wang used a contract to keep Childe from backing out, then carried him at tremendous speed from Liyue Harbor to Jueyun Karst.
• Mo Wang and Childe encountered a huge monster horde, while Aha recognized Mo Wang as her only dependent and Scaramouche grew jealous.
• Childe fought through the monsters until Mo Wang summoned the Heavenly Fire Sacred Judgment and burned the horde to ash.
• Mo Wang and Childe continued advancing as Mo Wang used a variety of weapons to kill even Stonehide Lawachurls and Ruin Guards in single attacks.
• Childe watched Mo Wang dominate the battlefield and concluded that they were on completely different levels.

Mo Wang freed controlled Fatui and Millelith soldiers, but Scaramouche trapped him in purple mist while Childe fought Scaramouche alone. As Childe neared defeat, Mo Wang erupted from the mist in a destructive rage, and the story shifted to the darkness of the trap advancing the Path of Destruction within him.

• Mo Wang used Jizo Mitama: Six Paths to sever Scaramouche's control over Fatui and Millelith soldiers without killing them.
• Mo Wang and Childe found Keqing and Yelan unconscious, then a burst of purple mist engulfed Mo Wang; he threw Childe clear of the trap.
• Childe confronted Scaramouche, taunted him, and fought him, but Scaramouche overwhelmed his attacks with Electro.
• Scaramouche powered up with purple mist and lightning armor, forcing Childe to struggle against a storm of lightning.

Mo Wang resisted Aha’s illusion of Khaenri’ah’s destruction and Lumine’s accusations, but the trap still ignited the power of Destruction within him. He broke free and appeared before Scaramouche and Childe, radiating overwhelming killing intent.

• Mo Wang recognized Aha’s illusion of Khaenri’ah five hundred years earlier and pushed through it toward Lumine.
• Aha, disguised as Lumine, blamed Mo Wang for failing to save Khaenri’ah and attacked him with a sword.
• Mo Wang exposed Aha’s disguise, explaining that the real Lumine would never have spoken that way, but admitted the illusion had stirred his regret.
• Aha revealed that the trap had failed because Destruction was already rampaging within Mo Wang, then taunted him as the flames ignited.
• Mo Wang shattered the illusions and rushed to confront Scaramouche, while Scaramouche and Childe sensed his terrifying power and killing intent.

Mo Wang unleashed Killing Intent and defeated Scaramouche, but Aha took over Scaramouche’s body and stripped Mo Wang of the power of Elation. With Elation gone, Mo Wang’s power of Destruction began to surge out of control as Aha prepared to keep playing.

• Mo Wang’s Killing Intent awakened, and he sent Scaramouche flying before telling Childe to get Keqing and Yelan to safety.
• Scaramouche begged Aha for more power, but Mo Wang continued to overpower him and finally beat him into apparent death.
• Aha revealed that Scaramouche’s body had been part of a plan and took control of it to descend in person.
• Mo Wang attacked Aha, but Aha used her Aeon power to strip the Path of Elation from him.
• Aha said she could not easily take Mo Wang’s power of Preservation, while Mo Wang’s suppressed power of Destruction erupted after Elation was removed.

Mo Wang chose to become an Emanator of Destruction, and Aha released Osial to push him toward the Path. As Mo Wang’s Destruction power surged, Mimi crossed into the Star Rail world and emerged from a portal beside him, begging him for help.

• Mo Wang and Aha clashed, and he decided to become an Emanator of Destruction.
• Aha summoned Osial, breaking Zhongli’s seal and darkening the skies over Liyue.
• Mimi sensed Destruction spreading through Mo Wang and decided to go find him, dragging Paimon along.
• In the Star Rail world, Mo Wang’s Destruction power suddenly surged while he was shopping with March 7th and Mimi.
• A portal appeared beside Mo Wang, and another Mimi rushed out, calling for him to save her.

Another Mimi warned Mo Wang that his Teyvat counterpart was being pushed toward becoming a Destruction Emanator, and Aevum offered Mo Wang a chance to become a Trailblaze Emanator. Mo Wang gathered the Astral Express crew to explain the crisis, leaving them stunned by the existence of another Mo Wang and his possible transformation.

• Genshin Impact Mimi arrived and shared memories showing Aha was in Teyvat and Mo Wang's other self was nearing a Destruction Emanator's power.
• Mo Wang realized his counterpart wanted to use an Emanator from another Destiny Path to counter Destruction, while Star Rail Mimi pointed out that Mo Wang was the only available candidate.
• Aevum contacted Mo Wang and offered to let him become a Trailblaze Emanator, but Mo Wang distrusted the offer and decided to consult his teammates.
• Mo Wang summoned the Astral Express crew and told them that another version of himself was about to become a Destruction Emanator and needed help.
• The crew reacted with shock and confusion as Mo Wang explained that their shared powers made his counterpart's transformation nearly equivalent to his own.

Mo Wang persuaded the Astral Express crew to help him reach Teyvat, where Blonde Mo Wang was fighting Aha, and the crew arrived through a passage made by two Mimis. In Liyue, Osial advanced on the harbor while Mimi searched anxiously for another Mimi, leaving Ningguang facing the Archon without the Adepti’s help.

• Mo Wang told the Astral Express crew that Aevum had urged him to pursue becoming an Emanator of Trailblaze so he could help another Mo Wang become an Emanator of Destruction.
• March 7th and Dan Heng teased Mo Wang, but the crew agreed to help after he appealed to their curiosity about a new world and the threat Aha posed.
• Mo Wang summoned two Mimis, who opened a passage through which the Astral Express traveled to Teyvat.
• Blonde Mo Wang relaxed as the Astral Express appeared in the sky during his battle with Aha, who reacted in disbelief.
• Mimi searched for another Mimi in Liyue as Osial advanced toward the harbor and destroyed several Guizhong Machines with a torrent of water.

After Mo Wang’s companions arrived on the Stellar Train and the train smashed Osial’s heads, Dan Heng awakened his dragon form and stopped Osial’s tsunami. Osial remained alive and weakened as Dan Heng turned to face him.

• The Stellar Train struck Osial and shattered several of his heads before stopping in front of Paimon, where Mimi reunited with her and Mo Wang revealed himself with gray hair.
• Dan Heng, Old Yang, Himeko, and March 7th stepped off the train as Osial regenerated his heads and unleashed a massive tsunami toward Liyue Harbor.
• Mo Wang jokingly sent Dan Heng to fight Osial, prompting Dan Heng to leap toward the oncoming waves.
• Dan Heng transformed with dragon horns and azure scales, froze the tsunami in midair, and shattered it into rain with a single strike.
