The moment Simu heard those words, Obito's scarlet Mangekyō Sharingan appeared beneath the eyehole of his mask.
"By virtue of my identity."
"Madara Uchiha."
His voice was low and powerful, carrying an unquestionable authority.
If Simu had not learned the other man's true identity in Konoha, he might have harbored a trace of doubt toward Obito's claim.
But now, Simu only found those words laughable.
Of course, though he found it amusing inside, Simu revealed nothing on the surface. He merely asked with interest, "Madara Uchiha?"
Obito seemed deeply dissatisfied with Simu's reaction.
Who was Madara Uchiha?
He was the God of Shinobi Senju Hashirama's old rival, a legendary figure of the Uchiha Clan, the man who had nearly defeated the God of Shinobi!
And that was all the reaction he got?
But since he had already said it, Obito had no choice but to keep up the act.
"Of course. These eyes are the best proof."
Obito had deliberately revealed his Mangekyō Sharingan to make his words more convincing.
Unfortunately, Simu possessed a Mangekyō Sharingan himself and felt nothing special about it.
He lightly adjusted his glasses and said calmly, "Let us assume that you really are Madara Uchiha."
"Then, Senior Madara Uchiha, what gives you the right to make me stop?"
Simu held the overwhelming advantage now. As long as he could hold Obito back, the Blood Mist Faction's defeat was already inevitable.
Under such circumstances, Simu was very curious about how Obito intended to persuade him.
Obito stared at the calm-faced man before him.
He found it hard to imagine that someone could remain so composed after hearing the name Madara Uchiha.
Unless he had already learned his true identity beforehand.
But that was impossible.
The name Obito Uchiha had died in a war many years ago.
