Hidan launched himself forward at maximum speed, his pitch-black spear thrusting fiercely toward the familiar face before him.
He absolutely would not allow anyone to insult that damn guy!
Even if someone were to do so, that person could only be himself!
The Cult Leader took a step back, his Mantis Kagune striking out rapidly to block the blow at the very last second; the spear and the intersecting sickle-shaped Kagune sparked brilliantly upon impact.
A deep sense of joy welled up in the Cult Leader's eyes.
This was the power bestowed upon him by Lord Jashin!
Although he could not yet fully control it, he could already feel the immense strength of this power.
A massive dark purple shadow swept in from the side, sending the enraged Hidan flying and smashing him into the wall, leaving a giant crater.
However, such injuries meant nothing to Hidan, who possessed an Immortal Body.
He scrambled up from the ground immediately and, without a word, launched an even faster assault on the Cult Leader.
The Cult Leader narrowed his eyes slightly, and his Mantis Kagune shot out like red lightning.
This time, Hidan did not attempt to block, instead allowing them to sever his head clean off.
Is this the joy of decapitation?
An indescribable sense of delight rose within the Cult Leader's heart.
No wonder that guy Simu loved cutting off heads so much.
Next, all he had to do was secure Hidan's head.
Just as the Cult Leader felt he had easily resolved the situation and achieved victory, a large amount of spider silk suddenly ejected from Hidan's neck, reconnecting his body to his head.
Immediately after, his body moved once more, the spear striking out like a thunderclap.
A terrifying sense of crisis surged in the Cult Leader's heart; he hurriedly dodged to the side, but the sharp spear still pierced through his shoulder.
"Damn it!"
He cursed through gritted teeth and once again manipulated his Weihe to sweep Hidan away.
Clutching his bleeding, injured shoulder, his expression turned incredibly ugly.
"Why, even though I have mastered his abilities, am I still..."
Before he could finish his sentence, Hidan interrupted him.
"His power isn't something any stray dog can just master."
As he spoke, Hidan twisted his neck; in just a second, the previous wound had completely vanished.
He gripped his spear tightly, his eyes filled with killing intent as he asked, "Where exactly have you hidden that guy Simu?"
Hearing Hidan's question, the Cult Leader revealed a wild, arrogant grin.
"Simu? I am Simu now. If you dare to use the Jashin Ritual, that guy Simu will die along with me!"
Hearing the Cult Leader's threat, Hidan closed his eyes and whispered, "Kamizuki Simu, you really are a piece of trash."
He then slowly raised the spear in his hand, extended his tongue to lick it, and his entire body shifted into a black-and-white state as he said coldly:
"Since he's already dead, then let the entire Jashin Cult be buried with him."
A large amount of blood flowed from Hidan's body, tracing a circular Jashin symbol onto the ground.
Jashin Ritual, activate!
Seeing this, the Cult Leader became immediately nervous.
He knew the specifics of Hidan's ability; if he allowed him to successfully damage his own body, his soul would be extinguished along with it!
"Hidan, what are you doing?"
"Do you really not want to save Simu anymore?"
The Cult Leader panicked.
After all, his blood had already been accidentally obtained by Hidan; if he used the Jashin Ritual, there was absolutely nothing he could do to stop him!
Hearing the Cult Leader's words, Hidan sneered.
"I don't think that guy would want his body to be controlled by a piece of trash like you, let alone be used for threats."
Hidan raised his spear without hesitation.
Since it was that guy's body, he would just make it quick and clean—a powerful thrust through the heart would suffice.
Seeing that Hidan was serious, the Weihe behind the Cult Leader flew out instantly.
Its target was not Hidan, but the ground beneath his feet.
There were two conditions required to activate the Jashin Ritual.
One was to ingest the blood of the cursed target.
The other was the need to stand within the Jashin symbol to initiate the curse.
Now, all the Cult Leader had to do was destroy the pattern on the ground.
Or force Hidan to leave the range of the pattern.
Unfortunately, with his current level of control over this body, how could he possibly compare to Hidan in terms of speed?
In just a split second, the spear in Hidan's hand had already pierced through his chest.
Correspondingly, a gaping hole suddenly appeared in Simu's chest, and a large amount of blood sprayed out from it.
The Cult Leader fell straight to the ground.
He never imagined that even after obtaining such powerful strength, he would still be no match for Hidan.
Why, why was Lord Jashin so biased!
Regrettably, all his resentment vanished along with his heart being pierced through.
But Hidan's revenge clearly did not end there.
He gently closed Simu's eyes, stared at him for a long while, and then slowly turned around to walk toward the door.
"Since you're dead, there's no need for the Jashin Cult to exist anymore."
The next second, Hidan kicked the door open.
The two cultists outside hadn't even reacted before they were pierced through by Hidan's spear!
Double kill.
At this moment, Hidan was radiating a terrifying chill, a genuine killing intent rarely seen in his usually cynical self!
Relying on his Immortal Body, Hidan feared no attacks at all.
At the very least, the attacks from these people in the Jashin Cult posed no threat to him whatsoever.
Coupled with the fact that over these past three months, Hidan's taijutsu had improved rapidly under Simu's tutelage, and combined with this reckless fighting style, Hidan, all by himself, slaughtered his way through the entire Jashin Cult.
Wails, screams, cries of sorrow, and pleas for mercy erupted like a cacophonous symphony.
Blood gathered into a long river, resembling the flowing Yellow Springs carrying the souls of the wronged.
Ravens greedily enjoyed it all, the faceless Divine Statue in the Shrine silently watched the mortal world, and the entire headquarters had become a scene of hell.
Hidan was drenched in blood.
After finishing off everyone in the Jashin Cult, he dragged his exhausted body, his eyes scarlet, and stepped into the Shrine, leaving a bloody footprint with every step.
Suddenly, Hidan grinned, looking at the Divine Statue that had been knelt before for thousands of days, and said with a laugh:
"So, the great Lord Jashin cannot even protect his own God Child?"
"If that's the case, then it's better to just..."
A terrifying thought surged in Hidan's mind, and the veins on the arm gripping the spear bulged.
After losing Simu, this world has no meaning to me anymore.
Hidan walked toward the Divine Statue step by step, and just as he was descending into madness, the Blood Pool suddenly surged.
A figure emerged from within, stretched out an arm, and waved at Hidan:
"Ohayou, Hidan-kun!"
