Favored, Thus Fearless

Six kilometers away from the battlefield between Fuyuki and Orochimaru, in the heart of Konoha, Naruto was sleeping soundly in an empty apartment. Suddenly, roots began to sprout from the wooden floor beneath him.

A vine pierced directly into Naruto's body, reaching into the sealing space where the Nine-Tails was imprisoned!

"Hmm?"

The Nine-Tails, in the middle of its nap, sensed something amiss. Why was its body suddenly feeling an itch?

Unfortunately, this tree was not from the First Hokage, but originated from the Ancestor summoned by Fuyuki.

The Ancestor did not waste words. Without a second thought, she bound the Nine-Tails tightly with a great axe, draining its massive chakra until not a single drop remained, leaving only a weak, furious Nine-Tails slumped against the wall of the sealing space, looking at the great axe with a resentful expression.

A vast amount of chakra was conducted through the tree roots, making Fuyuki, standing in the forest of the Hyuga Clan, grow increasingly powerful.

His jet-black hair gradually faded in color, and the Spirit Binding Technique, resembling black mud on the ground, locked Fuyuki's limbs and neck, restricting the summoned beast possessing him.

Yet, his eyes remained filled with fanaticism. Lying on the ground, Orochimaru opened his mouth, and a pair of pale hands reached out from within to pry it open. A pristine, albeit slime-covered, Orochimaru crawled out, licked his lips, and said, "It seems I underestimated the Hyuga Clan. Having been passed down for a millennium just like the Uchiha, your secrets are clearly no less significant than theirs!"

"Mandara no Jin!"

The secrets of the Hyuga Clan were passed down orally from one clan head to the next before their passing. Even during wartime, if the secrets needed to be recorded, they were sealed with bloodline seals on scrolls, to be opened only by the next successor after the war ended or the previous head died.

The secrets of the Hyuga Clan were completely unknown to outsiders!

A tide of venomous snakes was summoned by Orochimaru using his Summoning Jutsu, swarming toward Kaguya-hime. Simultaneously, he performed rapid hand seals and slammed his palm onto the ground, summoning the strongest snake king of Ryūchi Cave: "Manda!"

"Orochimaru, I—"

"Shut up!" Orochimaru snapped. "We can discuss the sacrifices after we survive. If we die, no amount of promised sacrifices will matter."

As a long-time comrade in battle, Manda felt a jolt of anxiety upon seeing Orochimaru's grave expression. "What kind of enemy are we facing this time? A dead toad? A slug?"

Orochimaru could not describe the Kaguya-hime summoned by Fuyuki. Kaguya-hime did not stop. She raised both arms, pointing at Manda and Orochimaru, and launched a double Eighty Gods Vacuum Attack. The entire world trembled for Kaguya-hime. The title of Rabbit Goddess was not for show; she was the true progenitor of chakra who created the Ninja World!

Eighty Gods Vacuum Attack, a divine technique that could crush Sasuke's Complete Body Susanoo like a toy. Now, the duo of Orochimaru and Manda, facing the earth-shaking, merciless giant fists, were as insignificant as ants.

"Summoning: Triple Rashomon!"

Seeing Kaguya raise her hand and recalling the fate of the snake swarm, Orochimaru released his strongest defensive technique by instinct.
