"Ah???"
Sasuke looked completely bewildered, unable to understand why Fuyuki was reaching out his hand. Wasn't he supposed to be teaching him secret techniques?
"We are neither kin nor friends. If you don't pay, what would I use to teach you? Is it the doting love of an uncle, or do you want to marry into our Hyuga clan?" Fuyuki said righteously.
If one were to force a connection, Sasuke and Naruto could indeed call Fuyuki "Uncle."
After all, he was of the same generation as the Sage of Six Paths. The Sage's sons, Indra and Asura, would naturally have to call Fuyuki an uncle by convenience, though Fuyuki had no desire to gain two nephews his own age for no reason.
Neither of these nephews was easy to deal with; it would be a different story if they were nieces.
With the Uchiha clan currently wiped out, everything within the Uchiha compound automatically fell under Sasuke's name. Even if a single coin were found in the compound, it would belong to Sasuke. The Konoha higher-ups hadn't embezzled a single cent or plot of land from the Uchiha, though Danzo had secretly made off with quite a few three-tomoe Sharingan.
Therefore, just because Sasuke ate rice balls every day didn't mean he was poor. He was simply too lazy to cook, spending all his time training instead. This guy had inherited all the wealth accumulated by the Uchiha clan.
Rather than having it confiscated by Konoha when he defected, he might as well give the money to himself; at the very least, he would teach Sasuke how to become stronger!
"How much?" Sasuke frowned, a bad premonition rising in his heart. He felt that since this guy Fuyuki knew about the Uchiha's blood feud, he would definitely take a massive cut out of him for the tuition!
"One hundred thousand Ryo!" Fuyuki held up a cross with his fingers.
"How is it so cheap???" Sasuke looked astonished. Was Fuyuki really a member of the Hyuga clan? To be so calculating over a mere one hundred thousand Ryo in cash—that was only the reward for a single B-rank mission.
"Teaching you for one hundred thousand Ryo—this isn't a one-time deal. You'd better be prepared to sell your land!" Fuyuki mimicked Sasuke's posture, crossing his arms and saying coldly.
"Heh, the accumulation of the Uchiha clan is not something a Hyuga heir like you can fathom!" Sasuke wore a sneer even colder than Fuyuki's, looking at him with provocation.
Naruto had a face full of question marks, unable to keep up with the rhythm of these two rich kids.
A bowl of top-tier Ichiraku Ramen only cost 60!
Occasionally, when he bought too many swimsuit magazines or ninja tools, Naruto could only go fishing in the river to eat. Now, seeing these two rich kids throwing around one hundred thousand as if it were nothing, his brain, accustomed to poverty, couldn't process it for a moment!
Are they gods? Why are they so rich???
Naruto fell into deep thought.
"Find me next to the Uchiha compound tomorrow. Remember to bring enough money! Hmph, Uchiha!" Fuyuki sneered.
"Hmph, mere Hyuga," Sasuke sneered back. "If there's no effect in terms of getting stronger, you'd better watch your back!"
"I want in too," Naruto said weakly.
Early the next morning, Sasuke stood in front of a building taller than the Hokage Office Building, his face full of question marks.
Before the Uchiha were wiped out, he had often come here to play with that man.
Why, after waking up from a night's sleep, had the forest disappeared and been replaced by a super-sized manor? Was that exaggerated building in the center really okay? Are you sure the Hokage wouldn't come over and forcibly demolish it?
Or perhaps some Lightning Release ninja would blast it to smithereens!
"Stinky Sasuke!" Naruto greeted him boisterously.
"Loser!" Sasuke replied with a cold, heartless face.
"The two of you, please come in. Young Master Fuyuki is waiting for you in the top-floor private room."
Hyuga Natsumi emerged from the central high-rise, leading the two inside with a smile. The light-luxury decor inside left them both in awe. Fuyuki had modeled the place after the five-star hotels of his past life; materials in the ninja world weren't expensive, only the labor was.
From the outside, it looked like a stone tower, but inside, it was blindingly luxurious. Gold-plated ornaments were everywhere. Every place a person could walk was covered in brown patterned carpets. The paintings of beauties hanging on the walls, which looked elegant, were actually commissioned from artists at thousands of Ryo per piece.
Sasuke and Naruto couldn't handle it; their faces turned red, and they lowered their heads, not daring to look.
Ascending the spacious spiral staircase, the two finally reached the top floor. Fuyuki was lying on a lazy-boy sofa made of green slime, leisurely reading a book with a black cover. It was completely different from the scene Sasuke had imagined of Fuyuki training desperately.
Moreover, while there was everything one could want for eating, drinking, and playing, there wasn't a single ninja tool in sight.
Sasuke was very suspicious. How exactly was Fuyuki going to make him stronger? Was his secret to strength just eating, drinking, playing, and sitting on a slime sofa reading erotica?
"Sorry, I'm feeling unwell and too lazy to get up. I'll let you two experience this for free. This is what 'training' is. Only two days for free; after that, it's one hundred thousand per session, no discounts."
"If you try to haggle with me, I'll break your legs!"
Fuyuki pointed to two plastic pools. "There, I've already prepared the medicinal baths for you. As long as you can endure sitting in them, you don't have to do anything or think about anything to get stronger. But I'll say this first: I'm only responsible for making your hardware stronger; I can't do anything about the software."
Hardware referred to physical fitness. He could summon Yin-Yang Spirits to nourish the human body, allowing others to enjoy the benefits brought by a weakened version of Yin-Yang Release.
But he couldn't do anything about the software. Fuyuki himself didn't have much combat experience. When he fought, he either relied on the insight provided by his Byakugan or simply crushed his opponents with raw power.
"Sasuke, get into the black pool. Naruto, you get into the green one. You two must not mix them up," Fuyuki cautioned.
"What happens if we mix them up?" Naruto asked curiously.
Sasuke cast his gaze toward Fuyuki, hoping to know what the consequences would be.
Fuyuki was silent for a moment, then said, "I don't know. But theoretically speaking, you'll mutate. Perhaps Sasuke will turn into a purple skeleton, and Naruto will turn into a golden fox."
"Ehh? Why a golden fox?" Naruto seriously suspected Fuyuki was implying something, but he didn't understand.
"Not a big golden fox—what, you want to turn into a golden Persian cat?" Fuyuki activated his Byakugan, glanced at Naruto, who was wearing only his trunks, and let out a sneer.
"You..." Naruto was choked with anger, and Sasuke grew vigilant.
"Get in!" Fuyuki ignored them and continued looking at the book in his hand.
This wasn't actually a book!
To be precise, it should be called an account book; daily expenses and earnings were all recorded inside, though currently, it was a sea of red, with "deficit" written in every available space.
Fuyuki had only intended to visit a patient yesterday, yet he never expected it would be so easy to swindle two high-capacity batteries out of them.
Sasuke topping up with cash could help him bridge his financial deficit.
The Hot Spring Resort hadn't been fully developed yet, so losing money was a matter of course, but Fuyuki didn't want to take any more money from his family; he was fed up with the Hyuga Clan's financial grip—it was only a few tens of millions, yet they acted as if it were a matter of life and death.
Uchiha Clan cash top-up: deficit.
Naruto chakra top-up: deficit.
The Hot Spring Resort's main selling point was its beauty-enhancing and healing waters; for the springs to possess such miraculous properties, a massive number of Yang-Attribute Lesser Spirits had to be summoned and tossed into the water to create hot spring water infused with Yang-Style Chakra.
Fuyuki had no intention of spending his own chakra to summon these Summoned Beasts; his own chakra was barely enough as it was.
If he didn't even have enough for himself, how could he possibly give any away?!
Therefore, catching someone from the Uzumaki Clan was an excellent choice, especially since Naruto also had the Great Fox!
With these two "pay-to-win" big shots, Fuyuki believed the hardships of the Hot Spring Hotel's startup phase would be nothing more than a trifle before them—no, no, that was too arrogant; after all, they were currently just Sasuke and Naruto, not Indra and Asura, so let's call it a moderate trifle!
