It was nine in the morning.
Natsuki walked into the Hokage Office.
He went over to the window and looked down at Konoha, letting out a yawn.
Since becoming Hokage, he really did feel as though he could do whatever he wanted.
Natsuki thought back to what had happened last night.
He was very satisfied with the gift Uzumaki Kushina and Yakushi Nonō had given him.
He had gotten to enjoy two different experiences at once.
He had also rewarded both of them handsomely.
Most importantly, this gift would last more than a single day.
It might even become part of his daily routine.
A knock suddenly sounded at the door.
"Come in," Natsuki said, turning around.
"Good morning, Natsuki."
Uchiha Mikoto walked in with a smile.
After greeting him, she crouched in front of the coffee table as usual and began brewing tea.
"Didn't Kushina come to see you?"
Natsuki asked as he watched the lovely curves of her waist and hips as she crouched.
"I wrote down the duties of the Hokage Secretary for her yesterday. She's reading through them now."
Uchiha Mikoto explained.
"That explains it."
Natsuki nodded. "If either of you runs into any problems, come to me right away."
"All right."
Uchiha Mikoto paused, hesitation crossing her face. She really wanted to know what the relationship between Natsuki and Uzumaki Kushina was, but she was afraid asking might upset him.
In the end, she thought it over and decided not to ask.
Even if their relationship was what she suspected, she wouldn't do anything about it.
Knowing or not knowing made no difference.
Since that was the case, she only needed to do her job well.
"Natsuki."
Uchiha Mikoto held out a teacup to him with both hands.
"Thank you."
Natsuki took a sip, then
