Background

Nawaki is Tsunade’s younger brother and the grandson of the First Hokage, Senju Hashirama. His lineage, large chakra reserves, and early training mark him as a prominent young talent in Konoha. He studies under Orochimaru, alongside whom he develops as a shinobi. 1 22

He first meets Natsuki and Yakushi Nonō when they enter the Ninja Academy. Though older than them, he approaches them first, introduces himself, and offers help should they face trouble at school. 1

Personality

Nawaki is sunny, sociable, and eager to make friends. His openness helps him quickly form a close training partnership with Natsuki, despite their repeated sparring matches and rivalry. 1 18
