Seeing Suikazan Fuguki captured by Uchiha Chen,
a fair-skinned boy with a somewhat youthful face charged at Uchiha Chen like a madman, heedless of everything. Weeping and snot-nosed, he punched and kicked at the gigantic hand of Susanoo.
"Uchiha demon!" The boy's furious shout brimmed with fear and hatred. "Kirigakure will never let you get away with this!"
"Kinchiku, what nonsense are you talking about?"
To the boy's surprise, it was the very superior he had wanted to rescue—Fuguki—who rebuked him.
After being trapped by the Chakra arm, Fuguki had exhausted every trick he knew. He had tried the Body Flicker Technique, substitution, and escape techniques, but Susanoo's arm was like a cage, leaving him no way out.
"Lord Chen, the supreme warrior of the Uchiha, I am willing to surrender to you."
Under the incredulous, grief-stricken gaze of the Mist Ninja boy,
Suikazan Fuguki swallowed. His earlier arrogance was gone, replaced by a servile, fawning smile.
"I have a tip for you, my lord. Shimura Danzō sent someone to contact me and told me to attack you while taking care of Pakura! That Aburame Ryoma is one of Danzō's men."
Suikazan Fuguki pointed toward an ordinary Mist Ninja wearing a mask at the edge of the battlefield.
"Oh?"
So it wasn't a coincidence. This was Pot King's handiwork?
Uchiha Chen narrowed his eyes slightly as he looked at the person Fuguki had identified. Countless bugs were already pouring out of the man's body.
"Secret Technique: Insect Sphere!"
Countless bugs flew out of the water beneath Uchiha Chen's feet and from the nearby trees and bushes. They gathered in midair into a pitch-black cloud, carrying Aburame Ryoma as they rushed toward Uchiha Chen.
"Ho!"
Uchiha Chen pointed at the swarm, his face full of mockery. "As expected of a stubborn Root operative. You really dare to attack me? Amaterasu!"
Black flames appeared out of nowhere. The moment they touched the swarm, they spread wildly, burning away the Insect Sphere Aburame Ryoma had spent so long preparing in just a few seconds.
"Ahhh!"
A shrill scream rang out. Lord Chen was still merciful; he extinguished Amaterasu after burning Aburame Ryoma for only two or three seconds, leaving half a corpse behind.
"Young people sure sleep well. The moment they lie down, they're out like a light!"
Uchiha Chen grinned wickedly as Susanoo released its grip on Suikazan Fuguki.
"Thank you, my lord! Thank you!"
Suikazan Fuguki showed none of a strong man's dignity or bearing. He prostrated himself and knocked his head against the ground several times before daring to call out to the six or seven remaining Mist Ninja:
"Come over and pay your respects to our lord! Do you all want to die?"

In her eyes, Uchiha Chen could clearly have defeated the Mist Ninja quickly, yet he had toyed with his enemies like a cat playing with mice. He had even made Fuguki, who had surrendered, kill all his subordinates himself.
That deranged, unrestrained smile and his wanton behavior showed just how twisted and terrifying he was inside.
Konoha had a lunatic like this. Then Sunagakure would—wait, I've already been betrayed by Sunagakure!
Pakura felt a little dejected, though at the same time she was faintly relieved.

He was handsome, too. What a shame he was a lunatic.
"My lord, I have completed the task!"
Suikazan Fuguki, his body reeking of blood, knelt before the two of them.
"Good!"
