Obito's voice sounded as flat and lifeless as deadwood. Countless sharp branches suddenly sprouted at high speed from the White Zetsu half of his body, piercing the many Kusagakure shinobi around him.
"Wood Release? You—"
The many Kusagakure shinobi guarding the Box of Ultimate Bliss had never dreamed they would die at the hands of the legendary Wood Release.
Obito strode slowly over the road of blood and corpses and stopped before a huge, square box.
Four faces—joy, anger, sorrow, and pleasure—were carved into its sides, and it radiated an aura of mysterious, evil Chakra.
According to the legends passed down in Kusagakure, several hundred years ago, someone in the Land of Grass had nearly conquered the world with the power of the Box of Ultimate Bliss.
But Obito wasn't very impressed with the ninja tool. Frowning, he looked toward Black and White Zetsu, who had appeared on a beam nearby, and said:
"It's just a box this big. How powerful could the monster sealed inside be? Zetsu, are you sure the monster in there can compare to a Tailed Beast?"
"The monster inside is called 'Satori.' In some ways, it's even harder to deal with than a Tailed Beast!"
Black Zetsu lowered his voice, imitating Madara's tone:
"According to the clan records, someone once controlled this monster and went on a rampage in the Shinobi World several hundred years ago.
"In the end, the Uchiha Clan Head of that era and the Senju Clan Head joined forces, paying a tremendous price to seal the monster back inside the Box of Ultimate Bliss. The Uchiha Clan Head at the time had awakened the Mangekyō, and the Senju Clan Head was strong enough to match him."
Did that mean the monster inside this box could take on
