Nara Dan helped the Divine Court defeat Imu and topple the World Government, then returned to the Ninja World and strengthened Konoha. When Madara and the Sage of Six Paths moved against him, Dan confronted them and drove the Sage to flee into the Underworld.

• Samehada battled Sengoku and Aokiji until they drove it beneath the ice, while Gion cut Zero in half before collapsing from poison and Meru defeated Akainu.
• Imu attacked in Pluton Armor, but Nara Dan ambushed and killed him, then equipped the armor and enlisted Sengoku and the Marines to join the Divine Court.
• Nara Dan ordered Dragon to lead the Navy against Mary Geoise and sent Meru to destroy pirate crews, while Luffy set out for Loguetown seeking answers about piracy.
• Nara Dan absorbed the One Piece World’s origin power and returned to Konoha, where he healed Yakushi Nonō, empowered Nara Shikaku, removed Hyuga Nana’s Caged Bird Seal, and trained Konoha’s ninja.

Nara Dan freed Kaguya Otsutsuki, forged a Five-Village Alliance, and sent a fragment of his spirit into Soul Society, where he trained among Rukia, Renji, and Kira while studying Aizen’s power. After reaching the Great Swordsman realm and arranging Gin Ichimaru’s help, Dan traveled to Hueco Mundo, where he emerged trapped in a strange substance.

• Nara Dan freed Kaguya Otsutsuki from the moon’s seals, learned about the Otsutsuki Clan, and sent the God Tree Fruit to Samehada, which swallowed it and entered an evolutionary slumber.
• Nara Dan persuaded Rasa and the other Kage to form a Five-Village Alliance and establish a Tailed Beast Monitoring Team.
• Nara Dan entered a boy’s body in the Bleach world, survived in Rukongai, and enrolled in Shino Academy after earning a B-level aptitude rating.
• Nara Dan impressed the examiners with his sword technique, chose to continue at Shino Academy, and met Aizen, Rukia, Renji Abarai, and Kira Izuru.
• Nara Dan resisted Aizen’s Illusion through his instincts and True Spiritual Light, then trained his swordsmanship while helping Rukia, Renji Abarai, and Kira Izuru improve.
• Nara Dan awakened Hollow power through the Hōgyoku inside Rukia, fought Gin Ichimaru, and told him how to resist Illusion in exchange for placing a marked stone in Hueco Mundo.

Nara Dan grew stronger, intervened in Soul Society’s affairs, and used the Graduation Exam to confront Aizen’s White Hollow. After obtaining Yhwach’s blood, Dan stopped Renji’s Hollowfication and began changing Kira Izuru instead.

• Nara Dan killed Nnoitra Gilga in Hueco Mundo, returned to Shin'ō Academy, and demonstrated his Flying Slash to Tōshirō Hitsugaya and Kira Izuru.
• Nara Dan defeated Byakuya Kuchiki in a ten-move challenge and agreed to help persuade Rukia to join the Kuchiki Family in exchange for its favor.
• Nara Dan used Samehada to unsettle Aizen during the Central 46 crisis, then trained Kira and Renji while preparing Renji for Hollowfication.
• Nara Dan brought Renji to see Rukia, suppressed the Hollow Power awakened in Renji, and decided he needed Quincy Power to make Renji a hybrid.
• During the Graduation Exam, Nara Dan fought and killed Aizen’s White Hollow, then traded its corpse to Kisuke Urahara for a scabbard.
• The Soul Society investigated Nara Dan after the battle, while Dan entered the Wandenreich and collected blood from the sleeping Yhwach.

Nara Dan defeated Gin Ichimaru, became captain of the Third Division, and helped confront Aizen’s betrayal. After settling into his new role, he investigated noble schemes involving Ginjo Kugo and Spirit King fragments, then faced a powerful attacker in western Rukongai.

• Nara Dan won the Captain Battle against Gin Ichimaru, broke Shinsō with his swordsmanship, and received the Third Division captaincy.
• Aizen revealed his betrayal and fought the captains, but Gin Ichimaru’s assassination attempt failed when the Hōgyoku restored Aizen and Aizen escaped after battling Yamamoto.
• Nara Dan took command of the Third Division, appointed Kira Izuru as Vice-Captain, and accepted Yamamoto’s assignment to coordinate with the exiled Soul Reapers in the Human World.
• Nara Dan met Kisuke Urahara and Shinji Hirako, delivered Yamamoto’s invitation to return, and brought Jushiro Ukitake’s relative Fuzhuku Rin back to Soul Society.
• Nara Dan defeated Ginjo Kugo, learned that nobles had framed him while pursuing Spirit King fragments, and sent his soul to Soul Society.
• Nara Dan extracted the Hōgyoku from Rukia and offered Byakuya a chance to revive Hisana in exchange for letting Rukia choose her division.
