Background

Lin Huang begins as a Saint who has passed the Heaven and Earth Two Tribulations, but he recognizes that his powerful soul far exceeds his physical vessel. He therefore pursues physical cultivation—“filling the gaps”—to create a body capable of carrying his soul and Dao 2.

His parents are already dead when he returns to visit their graves. There, he encounters his former girlfriend Chen Ruo and resolves to sever his attachments to the mortal world in order to overcome his Human Tribulation 16 17.

Rather than inherit a recognized Divine Body, Lin Huang creates the Desolate God Body through extreme self-destruction and reconstruction.
