Background

The God Realm is the upper realm of a cluster containing dozens or hundreds of subordinate planes. Gods who ascend in those planes generally travel there, while the realm's deities oversee order and regulate divine activity across the planes under its jurisdiction 90 102 110.

Its cultivation environment is far superior to the lower realms: elemental energy is dense, laws are more readily manifested, and even the families of gods can eventually cultivate to the level of God Official or beyond 102. Time also passes far faster there: one day in the God Realm equals one year on the Douluo Plane 104 105.

A God Position serves as both an office and a credential connecting its holder to the World Origin. Through this connection, a god can rapidly comprehend the laws corresponding to their position; possessing a God Position also permits entry into the God Realm 87 95.

God Realm Committee

The God Kings and First-Class Gods collectively form the God Realm Committee, the realm's decision-making body. It establishes the God Realm's rules and is responsible for maintaining order 102.

• Gods are prohibited from casually descending into lower realms without authorization. The Asura God and his Realm Patrol Envoys enforce this rule and handle native gods emerging in subordinate planes 90.
• Releasing divine sense to scan others within the God Realm is treated as provocation, a restriction that applies even to God Kings 102.
• Chief Gods are forbidden from fighting in Divine Planes or Material Planes; conflicts between them must be taken into Spatial Turbulence to avoid destroying lower planes 153.

God Positions

• A God Position allows its holder to communicate with the World Origin and use its corresponding origin laws as a reference for cultivation 87 93.
• First-Class God Positions enable particularly rapid advancement, even when an inheritor initially lacks the strength expected of that office 87.
• God Position inheritances are rare in most subordinate planes. The Douluo Plane is unusual for possessing many inheritances, including positions of God King-level significance 102.
• Soul beasts that survive a million-year Heavenly Tribulation may become gods and condense their own positions without inheriting one 87.

Known Territories and Population

The God Realm itself is smaller than the Douluo Plane, despite functioning as the center of its surrounding world cluster 102.

• Most of its territory is occupied by God Kings and Chief Gods, while many Second- and Third-Class Gods live independently in unclaimed areas 102.
• There are few non-divine residents beyond the families of gods; ordinary inhabitants can benefit from the realm's dense energy and favorable cultivation conditions 102.
• God Officials maintain the realm's basic operations and are considered its lowest social tier, despite their positions being coveted by lower-realm powerhouses 102.

Conquest by Richard Hegel

Richard first became interested in the God Realm after discovering that its God Positions provided direct access to the Douluo World's Origin Laws 86 93. He initially avoided a direct attack after extracting the Asura God's memories and learning that the Five God Kings possessed a combined attack comparable to a formidable High-level God of the Coiling Dragon World 95.

After obtaining God Positions as entry credentials, Richard infiltrated the realm with Xia Mi and the Silver Dragon King 95 102.

Initial Infiltration

Richard's group targeted the God of Space first, since leaving him active risked exposing any spatial disturbances caused by later battles 102.

• Richard used Time Stop to enter the Temple of Space with his Life and Wind Divine Clones, Xia Mi, and the Silver Dragon King 102.
• Their overlapping domains froze the surrounding time and space, while mental attacks wounded the God of Space's soul and forced him into unconsciousness 102.
• The God of Space was sealed and imprisoned in the Void Mirror alongside the previously captured Asura God and God of Slaughter 95 102.

Purge of the Gods

With the God of Space removed, Richard's forces used space locks to isolate targets and prevent battle fluctuations from alerting nearby deities 102.

• Richard captured the Wind God, while his Wind Divine Clone, Xia Mi, and the Silver Dragon King captured the Earth God 102.
• Several elemental gods and the God of Original Sin were captured within a single God Realm day 102.
• The God of Life, God of Destruction, God of Goodness, God of Evil, and their subordinates were subsequently defeated and sealed 103.
• Within two days, the realm had been purged and its gods captured. The absent God of Time and God of Emotion initially avoided capture because they were outside the realm 103.
• Richard later located and captured the God of Emotion while touring subordinate planes 111.

Division of God Positions

Following the conquest, several captured positions were assigned among Richard's allies and divine clones 103.

• Silver Dragon King — fused with the God of Goodness Position 103.
• Richard's Wind Element Divine Clone — fused with the Wind God Position 103.
• Richard's main body — fused with the Water God Position 103.
• Xia Mi — fused with the Earth and Fire God Positions, and temporarily used the God of Space Position 103.
• Lin Feng, Wang Yuyan, Mu Wanqing, and Kuina — arrived to select and fuse with available God Positions 103.

Later Administration

The captured gods remained imprisoned in the Void Mirror for hundreds of years while Richard's strength and Origin World expanded 103 138.

Richard later released thousands of former God Realm deities into his Origin World. They retained the God Realm Committee as an administrative body, joined by Xiao Yao and Richard's Divine Beasts 138.

• The former gods were required to preserve order and avoid destructive actions within the Origin World 138.
• They could choose residences across the Heavenly Court, Mortal Realm, and Underworld Bureau, which were connected by spatial passages 138.
• Though granted freedom of movement within the Origin World, they could not leave it and remained subject to Richard's authority over its Great Dao amplifications 138.
