Princess Huaiqing returned the Nation-Guarding Divine Sword to her custody, but Richard and his companions left just before the Mountains and Rivers Temple exploded and Shenshu’s right arm escaped its seal. The arm joined Henghui, a walking corpse whose tragic past and desire for revenge had enabled the Demon Race to draw it out.

• Richard returned the Nation-Guarding Divine Sword to Princess Huaiqing, then teased her about the group’s nonhuman members before teleporting everyone away.
• The Mountains and Rivers Temple exploded, destroying the seal beneath it and releasing Shenshu’s right arm; Huaiqing sent word to Emperor Yuanjing and the Nightwatchers.
• Shenshu’s right arm flew to Henghui, a walking corpse puppet made from a monk who had been murdered after eloping with Commandery Princess Pingyang.

Henghui rose early as a walking corpse and headed off to take revenge, while the officials investigating the destroyed Mountains and Rivers Temple struggled over who would question the National Preceptor. Princess Huaiqing returned the Nation-Guarding Divine Sword to Emperor Yuanjing and concealed Richard’s companions’ ties to the Demon Race.

• Lin Feng explained that Henghui and Commandery Princess Pingyang had eloped, and the group watched Henghui walk away to seek revenge.
• At Sangpo Lake, Jiang Lüzhong agreed to question the National Preceptor about the Mountains and Rivers Temple’s destruction despite Wu Lei’s warning.

That night, Henghui began taking revenge, slaughtering the Count Pingyuan household before fleeing wounded after failing to kill Zhang Yi and Zhang Shen.

• Jiang Lüzhong found Richard and his companions at a restaurant and questioned Luo Yuheng about her visit to Sangpo Lake and the temple explosion.
• Richard told Jiang Lüzhong to investigate what was hidden beneath Sangpo Lake, and Jiang left with the clue.

Emperor Yuanjing dealt with the aftermath of Henghui’s escape and reflected on the powerful figures Great Feng could not control. After finding that the soldiers trapped by the mysterious outsiders’ magic could not be freed, he sent Princess Huaiqing to contact them and seek their release.

• Henghui escaped after the Demon Race fused his walking corpse with Shenshu’s right arm, and even three Golden Gongs and Yang Qianhuan could not stop him.
• Emperor Yuanjing considered Wei Yuan’s hidden strength and the powerful experts outside his command, including the Confucian scholars of Cloud Deer Academy.
• Emperor Yuanjing found that the ice encasing thousands of soldiers would not melt and the branches binding others resisted even his full power.
• Emperor Yuanjing abandoned plans to provoke the mysterious outsiders and ordered Princess Huaiqing to contact them and restore the trapped soldiers.

Huaiqing negotiated with the Ice Empress and Xiao Yao to release the soldiers they had frozen and bound. The women demanded three imperial treasures each, and Huaiqing left to ask Emperor Yuanjing for approval.

• Huaiqing found Richard and his companions outside their restaurant and pleaded with the Ice Empress and Xiao Yao to spare the soldiers.
• The Ice Empress and Xiao Yao demanded cultivation methods and rare treasures, then settled on three treasures each after Luo Yuheng vouched for the imperial family’s resources.

Huaiqing reported what happened to Emperor Yuanjing, who realized they had taken items from a treasury he had not intended them to access.

• Huaiqing visited Spirit Treasure Temple and learned that Xiao Yao had already dispelled the spells affecting the officers and soldiers.

Emperor Yuanjing discovered that six items had vanished from his secret vault despite its intact protections, while Richard watched Zhan Lan and the Central Continent Team face a drastically upgraded Alien mission. The team armed themselves aboard the Nostromo, but Chu Xuan warned Zhan Lan that her powerful Vessel King might breach the hull and leave them stranded in space.

• Emperor Yuanjing found six missing items in his secret vault, moved the remaining contents, and resolved not to provoke the mysterious thieves again.
• Zhan Lan returned to God Space and entered the enlarged Nostromo with the Central Continent Team, where the Chief God had raised the mission difficulty to include multiple Alien Queens, hundreds of Aliens, mutants, and a Newborn.
• Zhan Lan scanned the ship, discovered three psychic blind spots and over a hundred Aliens, then shared her findings with her teammates and the newcomers Chu Xuan, Ba Wang, and Zero.

• Zheng Zha rushed toward the newcomers' cries, but five Aliens killed all of them before he arrived.
