Background / History
O'Brien founded the empire that bears his name. Although he had ceased to involve himself in worldly affairs, he remained a figure of devotion for its warriors and resided at War God Mountain 35 78.
He invited Lin Qin and Linley to represent War God Mountain in the Graveyard of the Gods, giving each a War God Token. He described the invitation as both recognition of their potential and an investment in new God-level powerhouses for the Yulan Continent 115. When the graveyard opened, he entered alongside High Priestess Catherine, Di Lin, Hise, and Lin Qin. He helped lead the group through its lower God-level floors, but was injured in a clash with a Giant Ape Skeleton on the thirteenth floor 130 132 133.
After the group returned, O'Brien sought a fire-attribute Midgod Godhead from Lin Qin. He offered War God Mountain's accumulated resources and information, but they did not reach a trade 144. Later, Highgod Adkins demanded that O'Brien abandon War God Mountain. O'Brien refused, and one of Adkins's subordinates killed him in a single attack. Adkins's forces then destroyed War God Mountain and massacred its members 152.
