At first, Soul-Splitting Rebirth had merely been intended to give the people of Heaven Silkworm another source of amusement, while also allowing them to learn the immortal arts of this place, exchange what they had, and improve themselves. Later, they discovered that the Heaven's Center Realm truly was a treasured realm of the mortal world. Their ideas gradually multiplied, and so did their needs.

Ning Ye had once considered what level he should develop this incarnation to, and what kind of improvement he would ultimately gain after merging it back with his true body in the future.

But now, he realized that all of that was putting the branches before the root.

The Heavenly Dao was the root.
