Above the Star Realm, Ning Ye stood tall.

He was still controlled by that inexplicable black speck inside his body. Everything within him was falling away.

This situation had persisted for ten years.

For those ten years, Ning Ye had stood here without moving, everything within his body being drained away. Meanwhile, that black speck had gradually expanded, growing from a minuscule dot to the size of a fingernail.

The Limitless Dao Master.

Ning Ye felt that his title as Lord of the Thousand Mechanism Hall was somewhat lacking. Perhaps he ought to have called himself the Tianji Dao Master instead.

But all laws returned to one, and all Daos were the Heavenly Dao. Thousand Mechanism Dao Master worked well enough too.

Unfortunately, when Thousand Mechanism faced Limitless, Limitless proved stronger this time.

Yet Ning Ye did not care.

Yes, he truly did not care.

Though he was a Saint, his comprehension of the Heavenly Dao had once surpassed that of Sovereigns. In terms of Dao attainment alone, he could already be considered a Sovereign. It was merely that his ambitions were too great and his demands too high—he had to ascend the path of Heaven to its utmost limit before he would become the ultimate Sovereign.

Precisely because of this, after a thousand years of wandering the world, every secret he had seen wherever he went had become clear to him at a glance. To him, there were no longer any secrets left beneath heaven; all could be reached with a mere lowering of his hand.

Only the Dao of the Limitless Dao Master was something he had never seen before. He could not even understand it, much less grasp it.
