Background / History
Swordblade Sacred Land was founded by the Blade God Sword Sage, a devoted follower of the First Divine Emperor of All Ages. At its height, its founder commanded the Divine Emperor Alliance's Imperial Court and was regarded as one of the strongest beings in the World Forest. With blade and sword, he defeated the leading figures of the Primordial Holy Court and Dark Domain Abyss and slew enemies across tens of millions of worlds 580 600.
The sacred land's decline began when the Blade God Sword Sage vanished alongside millions of Divine Emperor Alliance True Gods. The circumstances were sealed by the alliance; later generations only retained rumors of a distant expedition that ended in total annihilation. Other alliance inheritances resented Swordblade Sacred Land for the elite forces lost with its founder, forcing it from the central World Forest to the Chaotic Domain of the Desolate Sea 580.
After relocating, Swordblade Sacred Land allied with the local Mad Race and established itself as the Chaotic Domain's foremost power. Its old prestige and territorial base remained substantial, but it was eventually surpassed by rising forces such as the Wild Thunder Dao Lineage and Sacred Heaven Manor 600.
Territory and Defenses
- Controls tens of thousands of worlds, including more than 500 innate mineral veins and over 800 medicine realms 600 606.
- Its core ancestral territory, the Sacred Ancestral Land, is built from hundreds upon thousands of worlds and gathers immense divine-aspiration power 600.
- A vast heavenly river protects the ancestral land; beyond it lies the Creation Heavenly River, the founder's origin land and a trial ground for each generation's Sacred Lord 600 627.
- The Creation Heavenly River contains dangers, fortunes, and the mysterious Paper Immortals, which have either suppressed or aided different Sacred Lords 627.
- During wartime, the sacred land can mobilize the power of its worlds into an ocean of blade intent and Sword Qi capable of shredding intruders and striking across vast starfields 614.
- Its defense formation was severely weakened when more than half of its worlds sealed themselves during the succession crisis 616.
Organization
| Faction / Position | Role and standing |
|---|---|

| Yin Clan / Mad Race branch | A wealthy and militarily dominant branch whose ancestral holdings make up much of the sacred land's territory; later rebelled under Ancestor Granny 601 610 634 |
| Holy Maiden | Xiao Yuluo, Chu Jianqiu's disciple and designated future Sacred Lord 611 640 |
| Eldest Senior Brother | Yi Tianyi, the Yin Clan's leading young prodigy; sought to seize control through marriage to Xiao Yuluo before his death 605 623 624 |
Foundations and Inheritances
Whetstone Divine Art
The Whetstone was created by the Blade God Sword Sage through faith in the First Divine Emperor. It allows disciples to strengthen a personal Whetstone with divine-aspiration power and fight above their cultivation level 580 606.
- It is available not only to gods but also to the sacred land's Shenhu and citizens, provided they believe in the Divine Emperor and revere Swordblade Sacred Land 606.
- Disciples gather divine aspiration at Ancestor Peak through the Divine Emperor Grindstone to mature their Whetstones 606.
- A high-grade Whetstone can enable its wielder to defeat an enemy one tier higher; before Liu Chengfeng's intervention, Chu Jianqiu alone possessed one in the sacred land 619.
- Liu Chengfeng later used the Divine Emperor Grindstone to raise Golden Light True God's Whetstone to superior grade and Yi Tianyi's to ultimate grade, triggering widespread competition and debt among the disciples 622.
Divine Emperor Grindstone
A revered ancestral artifact believed to have been bestowed by the First Divine Emperor. It serves as the focal point for gathering divine aspiration and cultivating Whetstones 601 606.
- The artifact was originally a floor brick carried and nurtured by the Blade God Sword Sage and the faith of his people 609.
- Its accumulated Divine Emperor Dao aura became strong enough to connect to the Divine Emperor Path, though the Divine Emperor's power itself did not originally reside within the brick 609.
- Liu Chengfeng demonstrated the ability to wield it and use it to upgrade Whetstones for a price 619 622.
- The grindstone suppressed Yi Tianyi's aunt when she tried to intervene in his conflict with Liu Chengfeng 624.
Swordblade Sacred Stele
The sacred land's supreme ancestral stele rests within the Creation Heavenly River and contains the mysteries of the Phoenix Swordblade Canon 625.
- Descendants normally require the founder's divine-path inheritance, exceptional talent, and unwavering resolve to make the stele respond 611.
- Most cultivators can only call forth its outline or study the phenomena it manifests from across the Creation Heavenly River 625.
- Liu Chengfeng could summon the stele, draw out its runes, and fully display the Phoenix Swordblade Canon at will 611 625 639.
- After the civil war, he returned the stele to the Creation Heavenly River so the sacred land could more easily comprehend the canon 640.
Phoenix Swordblade Canon
The founding ancestor's supreme swordblade inheritance, described as a longevity-grade divine art and the sacred land's greatest legacy 580 625.
- The Phoenix Blade Six Forms were derived from the stele and are universe-grade 610 611.
- The Phoenix Sword Minor First Form is a longevity-grade art derived from the canon; Xiao Yuluo and Chu Jianqiu were its only known cultivators before Liu Chengfeng's intervention 610 617.
- The Yin Clan attempted to force Xiao Yuluo to marry Yi Tianyi so the art could eventually pass into their bloodline 610.
- Liu Chengfeng later bestowed the complete Phoenix Swordblade Canon upon Xiao Yuluo 640.
Hall of All Beings
An ancient divine hall forcibly taken by the Blade God Sword Sage from the All-Beings Baleful Slaughter Platform and brought to Swordblade Sacred Land 597 631.
- It was nourished by the Creation Heavenly River and once possessed immense protective power 611.
- After the sacred land's decline, it could no longer be properly nourished and lost most of that protection 611.
- The founder's lingering power still barred outsiders from entering and protected the Swordblade Sacred Stele 631.
- Liu Chengfeng claimed the hall as Divine Emperor Alliance family property and removed it after defeating the Yin Clan 639.
Calamitous Saber Strike
A tribulation-answering-grade saber art and ancestral saber mark left in the Hall of All Beings 631 639.
- Created by the Blade God Sword Sage in his later years 639.
- Said to answer tribulation with a single strike and to have slain the unmatched progenitors of the Primordial Holy Court and Dark Domain Abyss 639.
Financial Crisis and Lease
Swordblade Sacred Land accumulated a debt of approximately 200 billion while secretly purchasing a vast batch of precious medicinal herbs and preparing to enter the Endless Treasure Land 579 601.
- Its elders' branch, Sacred Lord's branch, and Mad Race branch each contributed roughly 30 billion toward the crisis fund 601.
- The sacred land refused to mortgage ancestral assets or the Divine Emperor Grindstone, despite its poor credit and need for loans 610.
- To avoid a forced marriage and protect the Phoenix Sword Minor First Form from the Yin Clan, Xiao Yuluo leased the entire inheritance and territories of Swordblade Sacred Land to Liu Chengfeng's Wu Dao Consortium 617.
- During the lease, Liu Chengfeng controlled the sacred land's commercial decisions, charged disciples for Whetstone upgrades, and sold outsiders access to the Creation Heavenly River and the Phoenix Swordblade Canon 618 625.
- The arrangement divided the sacred land internally but enabled Xiao Yuluo to resist the Yin Clan's marriage scheme 617 618.
Story Role / Major Arcs
Decline and Debt Crisis
The sacred land's ancient prestige contrasts with its worsening financial condition. Its need to raise 200 billion exposes the divisions among its three branches and drives Xiao Yuluo to seek financing from Liu Chengfeng 579 601 610.
Forced Marriage Conflict
The Yin Clan seeks to absorb the sacred land's core inheritance by forcing Xiao Yuluo to marry Yi Tianyi. Their plan relies on passing the Phoenix Sword Minor First Form into the Yin bloodline through her future descendants 610 612.
Wu Dao Consortium Lease
Xiao Yuluo leases Swordblade Sacred Land and herself to Liu Chengfeng in exchange for help obtaining the Phoenix Swordblade Canon and preserving her autonomy. The decision grants Liu Chengfeng temporary authority but provokes opposition from the elders, Yin Clan, Dark Market, and Wild Thunder Dao Lineage 617 618.
Whetstone Commercialization
Liu Chengfeng uses the Divine Emperor Grindstone to upgrade Whetstones for enormous fees. The prospect of higher-grade Whetstones drives the sacred land's gods into a scramble for money, worsening internal hostility and feeding Yi Tianyi's ambition 619 622 623.
Civil War and External Siege
Grand Aunt and Ancestor Granny launch a Yin Clan rebellion, accusing Xiao Yuluo and the elders of selling out the ancestral land. The Dark Market and Wild Thunder Dao Lineage simultaneously bombard the sacred land's outer formation, seeking to seize the Swordblade Sacred Stele and Phoenix Swordblade Canon 633 634.
Return to the Divine Emperor Alliance
The Yin Clan activates the Mad Blood Curse, threatening to burn the sacred land's worlds and inhabitants together. Liu Chengfeng defeats Ancestor Granny, annihilates the Yin Clan's True Gods, and manifests the Swordblade Sacred Stele and Phoenix Swordblade Canon to sever their bloodline 637 638. He then restores Swordblade Sacred Land to the Divine Emperor Alliance, takes the Hall of All Beings, and grants the complete canon to Xiao Yuluo 639 640.
