His real body experimented with opening the Gate of Healing-his recovery was powerful enough that opening it incorrectly hardly mattered. He could go all out.
His Shadow Clones worked out how to open the Gate of Healing-over a thousand minds considering the problem from every angle, leaving no possibility unexplored.
Three hours later, Naruto Uzumaki successfully opened the second gate, the Gate of Healing.
For his training in the third gate, the Gate of Life, Naruto Uzumaki used the same approach-
He failed that day and only managed to open it the following afternoon.
