Background

Li Huahun entered the Emperor Su Sect through resources that included the Heaven-Stealing Bone-Transforming Art, a forbidden art capable of merging another being's superior bloodline traits into the user's own. The technique can only be attempted once, and failure results in death. 66

He first met Su Yi after effortlessly exterminating the Green Mountain Eighty-One Ghosts, including their Ghost King. Although he had initially been seeking the Demon Lord for a challenge, Li Huahun instead declared Su Yi his friend after sensing an unusual familiarity in his aura. He later told Su Yi that, in the boundless Desolate Ancient, only the two of them possessed fates beyond Heaven's limits. 97 98
