Aier's Equipment Slot was in no way inferior to Beirut's Innate Divine Ability, God-Slaying, except that it couldn't instantly kill a god of the same level.

In fact, it was far superior.

The two weren't even in the same league.

Beirut's Innate Divine Ability could only devour and refine Godheads.

Aier's Equipment Slot, on the other hand, could refine anything!

Anything that could hide from his divine sense had to be some kind of Heaven and Earth Wonder with the ability to conceal itself.

That would also explain why, according to West, Aier could somehow merge with the ground. It was probably another effect of this Heaven and Earth Wonder.

Besides, Olga suspected that the Heaven and Earth Wonder's abilities didn't end there.

A little over a hundred years ago, Aier had become a Low-God.

Now, he was already a Mid-God.

From that alone, Olga guessed that either Aier had an extraordinary talent or the Heaven and Earth Wonder could accelerate his comprehension of the Laws and Profound Mysteries.

To Aier's surprise, after equipping a Godhead containing Laws and Profound Mysteries he'd already comprehended, he could feel their strength double!

He set aside the question of whether refining a Godhead containing the same Laws and Profound Mysteries would strengthen him even more and continued refining Godheads.

Within a radius of ten million kilometers, only the City Lord of Caeles City was worthy of Olga's respect.

The rest were trash!

What darkened Olga's face even more was that even after becoming an Upper God, Aier was still hiding in his little courtyard. He showed no intention of leaving Caeles City.

He was certain that even Caeles City's City Lord couldn't save Aier if he attacked.

But this was a city, and the Overgods had forbidden fighting within its walls.

He didn't dare challenge an Overgod's authority.

After becoming an Upper God, Aier needed only three days to refine an Amethyst.

After refining over a hundred Amethysts, he once again brought his soul power to its limit.

Then, the time needed to refine an Amethyst dropped to two days.

The time needed to refine a Low-God Godhead fell to less than three years!

The gap between Upper Gods and Mid-Gods was even greater than Aier had imagined.

They were stronger in every way.

Aier already knew that the difference in strength between Low-Gods, Mid-Gods, and Upper Gods came down to their Divine Domains and the power of their divine energy.

But a person had more than divine energy. They also had a body and a soul!

An Upper God's divine energy was ten times as powerful as a Mid-God's.

There wasn't much difference between their bodies.

But an Upper God's soul was also ten times as powerful as a Mid-God's.

Thus, unless they had become an Upper God by refining a Godhead, an Upper God who'd become a god on their own was dozens of times stronger than an ordinary Mid-God!

That was why, according to the Fiend Castle's ranking system, an Upper God who'd become one by refining a Godhead was a Three-Star Fiend.

An Upper God who'd become a god independently was a Four-Star Fiend.

A Low-God Godhead contained only one type of Laws and Profound Mysteries.
