Background
Beirut has ruled the Magic Beast Forest of the Qingya Plane for more than twenty thousand years. His original body is a rodent-type magic beast, and he commands a large number of descendants in the forest. 48
After reaching the Saint Realm, Beirut was pressured by the Qingya Plane’s overseer, Miles Reynolds, to travel to the Wind Divine Plane. During his allotted thousand-year stay, he cultivated into a Darkness Element Low-God. His innate physique as a super divine beast allowed him to fight Miles despite his lower realm; after advancing to Mid-God, Beirut defeated him decisively. 48
Beirut subsequently chose to remain in the Qingya Plane until reaching High-God, believing that his Innate Divine Ability would then let him travel safely through the Divine and Supreme Planes. Before meeting Aier, he had comprehended five Darkness mysteries and several Wind mysteries, but did not know that Laws and Profound Mysteries could be fused. 48 50
Appearance
Beirut commonly appears as a young man with a slightly pointed chin, a handlebar mustache, and a small goatee. 48
- Slightly pointed chin.
- Handlebar mustache.
- Small goatee.
- His Innate Divine Ability manifests a phantom of a giant black rat behind him. 49
Personality
Beirut is cautious and highly conscious of the gap between himself and stronger beings. When Aier suddenly appeared behind him after crossing more than ten thousand meters in moments, Beirut immediately apologized and offered his knowledge of the forest, his descendants, and his service in order to preserve his life. 48
Despite this initial fear, Beirut is ambitious and receptive to guidance. Learning of Overgods, Paragons, and the strength gained through fusing Laws broadened his aspirations beyond merely becoming a High-God. He directly asked Aier to teach him and reconsidered his originally rushed cultivation plan. 50 51
Abilities & Skills
God-Slaying
Beirut’s Innate Divine Ability, God-Slaying, is a soul-based ability of the God-Slaying Rat. It can instantly kill opponents of the same rank and can refine Divine Sparks into essence that strengthens his body. 49 50
- Instantly kills gods of the same level when its soul attack is effective. 49 50
- Refines Divine Sparks and feeds their essence back into Beirut’s body, substantially increasing his physical strength. 49
- Cannot absorb the Laws and Profound Mysteries contained within Godheads, unlike Aier’s God-Devouring ability. 49
- Its effectiveness is limited against targets with Soul Defense Overgod Artifacts and against Paragons. 50
- Repeated use is restricted by Beirut’s soul energy and essence blood; once depleted, his deterrence drops sharply. 51
Divine Beast Physique
As a divine beast, Beirut possesses physical strength beyond ordinary gods. Aier expected that refining enough Godheads would raise Beirut’s body to the durability of a Godhead. 48 50
- His physique enabled him, as a newly ascended Low-God, to contend with Mid-God Miles Reynolds. 48
- Godhead-level physical strength would give him formidable material defense and greatly increase his material attack. 50 51
- Aier judged that, at Mid-God with a Godhead-level body, Beirut’s material attacks could reach the level of a Five-Star Fiend. 51
Wind and Darkness Cultivation
Beirut possesses Wind and Darkness divine clones. His Darkness clone initially progressed faster, while his Wind clone showed greater success in fusing Profound Mysteries. 47 48 67
- At the time of Aier’s visit, Beirut had comprehended five Darkness mysteries and four Wind mysteries. 50
- Aier’s demonstration led Beirut to fuse the Wind Element Law and the Mystery of Speed during a three-day epiphany. 51
- His Wind divine clone later completed the fusion of three Profound Mysteries. 67
- His difficulty fusing Darkness mysteries led him to advance to High-God and seek the denser elemental environment of the Darkness Divine Plane. 67
Equipment / Items
- Space Ring of Earth Element Godheads — Given by Aier so Beirut could refine their essence and strengthen his physique; any remaining essence could be forged into weapons or armor. 50
- Power of Faith — Beirut has accumulated faith as king of the Magic Beast Forest. Aier advised him to reserve it for the final push toward Paragon rather than relying on it early in cultivation. 51
Relationships
- Aier — Mentor and benefactor. Aier initially approached Beirut to establish a connection, tested his God-Slaying ability with a Divine Spark, gave him numerous Godheads, and taught him about Law fusion and higher realms. 48 49 50 51
- Miles Reynolds — Qingya Plane Overseer and former superior opponent. Miles compelled Beirut to visit the Wind Divine Plane, but Beirut later defeated him after reaching Mid-God. 48
- Beirut’s descendants — As a rodent-type magic beast, Beirut has many descendants within the Magic Beast Forest. 48
Story Role / Major Arcs
First Meeting with Aier
Aier delayed approaching Beirut until his Wind Element divine clone had reached Paragon, unwilling to risk provoking a breakthrough in the God-Slaying Rat. When Aier finally entered the Magic Beast Forest, Beirut sensed his extraordinary speed and became terrified after Aier appeared directly behind him. 48
Learning the God-Slaying Ability’s Full Potential
At Aier’s request, Beirut used God-Slaying on an Earth Element Demigod Divine Spark. He discovered that the ability could refine a Divine Spark and absorb its essence to strengthen his physical body. Aier then explained the ability’s advantages and its inability to absorb Laws and Profound Mysteries from Godheads. 49
Cultivation Guidance
Aier informed Beirut of Overgods, Overgod Artifacts, Paragons, and the importance of fusing Laws and Profound Mysteries. After receiving a Space Ring full of Earth Element Godheads, Beirut asked Aier to teach him; Aier’s Wind Element demonstration directly led to Beirut’s first fusion epiphany. 50 51
Departure to the Darkness Divine Plane
Although Beirut had intended to remain a Mid-God while fusing mysteries, he eventually found no connection point among his Darkness mysteries. After his Wind clone completed three fusions, Beirut advanced to High-God and departed for the Darkness Divine Plane, while leaving his Wind clone in the Qingya Plane. 67
