At the same time, the attitude of Blood Peak Sovereign made Aier realize that the status of a Paragon was even higher than he had imagined.
Of course, even knowing this, Aier would not become arrogant.
The status of a Paragon, aside from strength, was also something elevated by the Sovereigns themselves.
He would not truly believe that he was equal in status to the Sovereigns just because they treated him with an equal posture.
Identity is identity, and strength is strength.
The Sovereigns respect your attainments in the Laws and Profound Mysteries and therefore hold you in higher regard, but that does not change the fact that in front of a Sovereign, a Paragon has no power to fight back at all.
If you truly anger a Sovereign, do you think they wouldn't just kill you outright?
The scarcity of Paragons, in Aier's view, was perhaps because some Paragons did not want to endure the threats posed by Sovereigns in the Divine Planes and Supreme Planes, and thus headed to the Material Planes.
If the Sovereigns are the masters of the seven Divine Planes and four Supreme Planes, then in the Material Planes, even a Sovereign must bow their head to a Paragon.
Unless the Material Plane where the Paragon resides is the hometown plane of a certain Sovereign.
Otherwise, in a Material Plane, a Paragon is invincible.
After all, there was once a Sovereign who entered a Material Plane to hunt down a deity, causing the Material Plane to collapse and be erased by the Supreme God.
The remaining Sovereigns, if they do not wish to die, dare not enter Material Planes that are not their hometowns.
Relying only on Sovereign projections and elemental clones, a Sovereign would only be humiliated by a Paragon in a Material Plane.
Take Beirut for example; in the future, he snatched the corpses of the Four Divine Beasts Overgods from the Radiant Sovereign Augusta. Before he refined the Wind Element Lesser Sovereign Spark of White Tiger Sovereign Lieus, he was even threatened by the Radiant Sovereign Augusta.
But after refining the Wind Element Lesser Sovereign Spark and becoming a Sovereign, he immediately shattered the projection clone of the Radiant Sovereign Augusta, not giving Augusta the slightest bit of face.
Aier's true body is currently in the Qingya Plane. Even if his Earth Element divine clone were killed by a Sovereign, Aier could still use his true body to refine an Earth Element godspark to restore his Earth Element divine clone.
But such an opportunity would only come once.
Therefore, Aier felt that even if he possessed Earth, Wind, Water, and Fire four-element Paragon divine clones in the future, he would only use one divine clone to walk through the Divine Planes and Supreme Planes.
If two divine clones were to fall, Aier's plan to return to the origin through the four elements of Earth, Wind, Water, and Fire and reverse the Hongmeng Energy would fail, thereby causing Aier to lose the possibility of transcending the Coiling Dragon Universe.
"Hum—"
The Laws of the World descended, and the soul of Aier's true body was once again tempered by the Laws of the World, allowing the strength of Aier's soul power to improve significantly once more.
Likewise, within the soul of Aier's Wind Element divine clone, an extra portion of Willpower appeared.
"As expected, just being a dual-element Paragon does not grant additional Willpower from the Laws of the World."
Aier opened his eyes and thought silently to himself.
Although, up to this point in the Coiling Dragon Universe, there had not yet been a dual-element Paragon.
But Aier felt that a multi-element Paragon was just like a soul mutation; Linley was a four-element soul mutant, which was why he possessed Willpower.
Aier estimated that he would also need to achieve Paragon status in all four elements to obtain additional Willpower.
In reality, Aier was not very concerned about whether he could obtain additional Willpower.
After all, even without Willpower, Aier was invincible in the Material Planes.
An extra portion of Willpower would have no impact on Aier.
Fusing the Sovereign Power of the four elements—Earth, Wind, Water, and Fire—into Hongmeng Energy was Aier's greatest pursuit.
Of course, if there really were additional Willpower, Aier wouldn't mind it either.
If the future remained unchanged, the Sovereign Sparks and bodies of the Four Divine Beasts Overgods that Beirut snatched from the Radiant Sovereign would all become Aier's spoils.
By then, let alone the Radiant Sovereign Augusta, even the Fate Chief Sovereign Ao Fu would not be someone Aier couldn't challenge.
"Lord Aier, you have finished your seclusion?"
After Aier walked out of the cultivation room, an old man bowed and greeted him.
"Mm."
Aier nodded slightly without saying much else.
Walking out of the palace, Aier looked out. Centered on the place where he lived, countless houses of various sizes were scattered in an orderly fashion, spreading outward.
If it weren't for the lack of city walls, it would be no exaggeration to call this a large city.
More than ten thousand years ago, Aier had caused quite a stir in the Qingya Plane.
At first, only a very small number of humans followed behind Aier.
After Aier finished traveling through the Qingya Plane and decided to settle down on the Qingya Continent, more and more humans gathered around Aier from all over the world, hoping to receive Aier's protection.
Although Aier had not taken any action, the few god-level powerhouses in the Qingya Plane had all learned from the Plane Overseer Miles Reynolds that Aier was a super powerhouse who had returned from the Divine Planes.
It was enough that Aier didn't go looking for trouble with them; how could they dare to provoke Aier?
For those who followed him, Aier would impart some cultivation experience to them when he was in a good mood.
Over the past ten thousand years or more, quite a few individuals with extraordinary talent have ascended to the Saint Realm, becoming the new guardians of humanity.
It could be said that the arrival of Aier accelerated the onset of friction between humans and orcs.
Perhaps, when a God-level powerhouse finally emerges among humans, that will be the time for humanity and the orcs to vie for control over the Qingya Plane.
This old man, who compared himself to a "servant" in front of Aier, was himself a Saint Realm powerhouse.
After storing a Water Element Divine Spark into his Equipment Slot, Aier looked up toward the direction of the Magic Beast Forest.
"Beirut..."
In the past, Aier had wondered if he could replace Beirut and intercept the corpses of the Four Divine Beasts Overgods from the hands of the Radiant Sovereign Augusta.
However, Aier eventually gave up on that idea.
Aier did not know how much time remained until the death of the Four Divine Beasts Overgods, and he could not—nor did he have the energy to—stare into the Spatial Turbulence outside the Qingya Plane.
Regardless, Beirut only possessed Wind Element and Darkness Element divine clones.
After obtaining the corpses of the Four Divine Beasts Overgods, Beirut would only be able to refine one Wind Element Lesser Sovereign Spark.
Aier only needed to let Beirut know of his existence, that he was a Paragon, and that he possessed Earth, Water, and Fire element divine clones.
Then, when Beirut grew tired of being suppressed in the Qingya Plane by the Radiant Sovereign for his entire life, he would naturally take the initiative to seek Aier out.
A Paragon who is a Lesser Sovereign possesses strength comparable to an Intermediate Sovereign.
Refining one Sovereign Spark grants an extra portion of Willpower, so Aier, having refined three Sovereign Sparks, would be enough to rival a Law Chief Sovereign.
If one were to add the physical durability of an Overgod Artifact, he might even reach the level of the Four Rule Chief Sovereigns.
