But today, the first case that came to his mind was one that had happened close by—Victor Gaude had once possessed two souls within his body as well!
"Could it be a similar situation?"
Dark could not help but fall into thought.
Seeing him deep in thought, Pandora did not disturb him. Of course, she herself needed time to sort through her thoughts as well.

"That's where the problem lies," Dark said. "The death of someone that important should not have passed without a trace. It wouldn't have been excessive to arrange the grandest possible funeral. That would certainly have been extremely beneficial to the Holy Church itself."
"I have not paid much attention to those factions," Pandora said. "I truly cannot speculate."
"It's fine," Dark said. "This is something that can be investigated easily enough. But it may be rather late now. Tomorrow, I'll first go and ask Professor Sylph to confirm it."
"Remember to contact me whenever you need to," Pandora said. "I'm somewhat interested in this matter too."
Dark nodded. "I will."
The two then lingered affectionately in the office for a while before getting up to leave.
Dark escorted Senior Pandora back to the Magister House tower before turning to return.
"As expected, whether it's Saint Son Evan Pearson or Saintess Audrey Jeanne d'Arc, both of them are extraordinary."
