Dark suddenly asked in surprise, "How does one obtain the legacy of 'War God' Ares? What are the requirements?"
Stanley Longfellow chuckled. "What requirements could there be? At the very least, you need the aptitude of a Hero. I heard that your Magic Spirit can also wield the 'Holy Sword.' What a pity it isn't you yourself, or you could have given it a try."
Dark asked curiously, "All it takes is the aptitude of a Hero? Is the legacy of the 'War God' really that easy to obtain?"
"Well..." Stanley Longfellow scratched his head. "I'm not too sure about that. I suppose it isn't particularly easy. What do you think?"
Dark sneered inwardly. "Perhaps."
Guidance and inheritance.
There was still a slight difference between those two terms.
But one thing was certain: Stanley Longfellow was talking complete nonsense. If the legacy of the "War God" could be obtained with nothing more than the aptitude of a Hero, why had the Holy Church, which clearly had its own ideas about this, not brought Saint Son Evan Pearson?
That was obviously unreasonable.
Unless one of the Twin Holy Knights also possessed the aptitude of a Hero and had beaten the Saint Son in the selection.
But none of that mattered.
What mattered was what purpose Stanley Longfellow had come here for.
