Oli said, "It also wielded divine power and could cleanse abnormal conditions." "That makes it even more troublesome." Dark shook his head, pulled "Demon King? Eldritch" from his robe, and said, "Spit out Fred North and let's have a look."
Fred North was not dead.
Though no one knew what the "mysterious person" had been thinking, it had indeed taken over Fred North's body without destroying his soul.
After Fred North was spat out of the "stomach pouch" by "Demon King? Eldritch," Oli immediately examined his body.
To their surprise, his body was in excellent condition, and he had not even expended much magical power. After some discussion, Dark and the others guessed that he had simply been too weak. The "mysterious person" had completely subdued him without needing to do anything else—which had instead saved his life.
It was all down to fate. Fred North could be considered a man with a long life ahead of him. After Oli spent some time awakening his soul from its slumber, he began shouting the moment he woke up, clearly having been badly frightened.
Once he finally calmed down, Dark asked, "Fred, do you remember me?"
Fred North naturally nodded. "Dark Demon, I know you. You saved me?"
"You could say that." Dark did not deny it, instead asking, "Can you briefly tell us what happened to you after entering the 'Heavenly Court'?"
"The 'Heavenly Court'?" Fred North froze. "This is the 'Heavenly Court'?"
His question left Dark and the others stunned instead. If this was not the "Heavenly Court," then where was it?
After all that, this grandson of the Duke of the Northern Lands still had not figured out what was going on?
Dark took a breath and patiently gave him a brief rundown of the basic information.
