"Golden Charge," "Golden Sword Light," and "Golden Shield"—all three Ultimate Moves were related to "Golden Power."
The "Golden Power" wielded by the Golden Horse Knights could turn matter into gold, with effects varying in strength depending on the skill.
But none of the Ultimate Moves had any effect on Golden Elemental Species. After Devouring three Golden Horse Knights, Dark Demon cracked the third puzzle wall and entered the fourth level of the pyramid.
On the fourth level, the number of Golden Horse Knights suddenly increased, while the Golden Mummies and Golden Saber-Toothed Beasts became mere supporting players.
At this point, Dark and the others' advance finally slowed. The Golden Horse Knights were stronger than ordinary nine-star Magic Spirits, and two or three gathered together would have been manageable. But when their numbers rose from single digits to double digits, then triple digits, quantitative change truly became qualitative change!
The Golden Horse Knights could pool their companions' power, stacking "Golden Charge," "Golden Sword Light," and "Golden Shield" to make those three Ultimate Moves even stronger. The previous Trinity attack had essentially been an upgraded version of "Golden Sword Light."
Unfortunately, they had encountered "Demon King Eldridge"!
Having Devoured Golden Horse Knights, "Demon King Eldridge" made flexible use of "Golden Sword Light" and "Golden Shield," attaching Golden Sword Light to its claws and fangs while reshaping Golden Shield into armor around its body. Its combat power instantly surged, and it slaughtered every Golden Horse Knight it encountered along the way.
Cutting through them like vegetables, Dark and the others finally reached the end of the fourth level. Before the puzzle wall sat an "Heroic Spirit" in midair, much like the woman from before. Only when Dark and the others approached did it slowly open its eyes.
