Professor Kazel, however, seemed to have prepared in advance. He directly took a stack of books from the shelf and set them on the table. "Read these. If you can learn five or six tenths of it, that should be about enough."

Dark nodded. He knew that what the professor meant by "enough" was being able to barely complete part of the operations under his guidance—enough for Dark to take on a substantial portion of the Golden Core production process.

He reached into the stack, pulled out a book, and flipped through it quickly. Two or three minutes later, he switched to another book.

Two more minutes passed, and he changed to yet another.

In this manner, he had gone through every book in just over ten minutes. He had grasped the general contents of them all and felt that he should be able to learn it.

"Shouldn't be a problem."

He said with a smile.

Everything he had glimpsed while casually flipping through the books was now imprinted in his mind with the clarity of print.

"Is one week enough?" Professor Kazel asked. Dark nodded without hesitation. "It is."

"That's good." Professor Kazel said, "I'll adjust the framework for the Golden Alchemist within a week. We can discuss the internal design afterward... The information you gave me was very useful."

Dark said, "Then we'll continue in a week. But I have another idea beyond the basic concept."

Professor Kazel asked curiously, "What idea?" Dark said, "The Golden King has a holy sword."

That was all he said, yet Professor Kazel understood at once and could not help laughing. "You really are greedy."
