Dark stared intently at the statues and said quickly, "I don't know why, but I have this feeling that those statues are alive."
"Alive?" Professor Kazel immediately turned to look at the nearest statue.
Though the statue was humanoid, it was clad in armor from head to toe. Even its face was concealed, making it impossible to determine what it was.
Kazel's eyes glowed as the Eye of Truth activated on its own. Then he walked up to the statue, raised a hand, and cautiously pressed it against the surface.
