[Heavy Armory: MetalGarurumon is a walking arsenal. Beneath its indestructible Steel Body lies an innumerable array of heavy weapons. Magic +1000, Attack +500, Defense +1500, Rank +1. It gains immunity against certain transformation-type Ultimate Moves. While Heavy Armory is active, the missiles it fires gain a 50% power bonus. Additional Ultimate Moves: Laser Guidance, Giga Missile.]
[Laser Guidance: MetalGarurumon can fire lasers from its eyes to attack targets, or combine them with the four laser emitters on its nose to guide the missiles it fires and increase their accuracy.]
[Giga Missile: MetalGarurumon opens the metal plates on its chest and fires a heavy missile from within. This missile automatically reloads once every thirty seconds.]
"Attack +500, Defense +1500, Laser Guidance, thirty-second automatic reload... So this is Heavy Armory."
Dark carefully considered the Ultimate Move and realized that MetalGarurumon was most likely a Magic Spirit focused on ranged burst damage.
Though it possessed a full 9000 Attack, it did not have an Ultimate Move suited to bringing that attack power into play.
Generally speaking, Magic Spirits in this situation tended to have relatively poor combat skills, leaving them full of openings in close combat.
Fortunately, his Magic Spirits possessed intelligence of their own and did not require the latent boosts of Ultimate Moves.
With 9000 Attack and 9500 Defense combined, it could still become a powerhouse in close combat.
Laser Guidance likely had a hidden guaranteed-hit property, ensuring that the lasers fired from its eyes would always strike their target. However, this Ultimate Move did not benefit from Heavy Armory's passive bonus, so its power was limited.
The one worth paying attention to was Giga Missile. This Ultimate Move had only a thirty-second cooldown and could be used as a regular Ultimate Move. It was quite good.
