As its magic power naturally ran dry, it naturally returned to its Magitech Card.
Thus, when Dark woke up, he found Misdreavus's Magitech Card lying all alone on the tabletop, while his Card Case had fallen over beside it.
Dark:
A moment later, he picked up the Magitech Card and traced a three-pointed-star magic replenishment formation with his finger, slowly restoring its depleted magic power.
"In the name of Dark Demon, Magic Guidance Summon!"
After he softly chanted, the drowsy Misdreavus was summoned from the Magitech Card.
It had no idea what terrifying judgment awaited it.
"Myaa!"
Misdreavus woke amid screams as it was squashed flat and kneaded round, only to continue being squashed flat and kneaded round.
A few minutes later, Dark finally got to the bottom of it. Misdreavus had indeed secretly slipped out of its Magitech Card and eaten his dream.
But when he asked what he had dreamed about, Misdreavus dripped saliva and shook its head desperately.
That only made him more curious.
But Misdreavus immediately began acting cute and fawning over him, rubbing against him frantically until he gradually gave up on getting to the bottom of it.
As for why Misdreavus had been able to emerge from its Magitech Card on its own—
Dark questioned it seriously, and Misdreavus answered seriously, but in the end, they got nowhere.
Dark could only look through the materials carefully.
There happened to be a mention of this in Mind Mage Red's Summoning Lecture: The Differences Between Magic Spirit Summoning and Other Magic Guidance Summons.
How could Magic Spirits emerge from Magitech Cards through their own power?
There had once been Magisters who specifically researched this.
The conclusion they reached was that, unless they possessed an Intelligence Level above 3.0 and had mastered a skill similar to "Summoning,"
