Miss Cat was as plain and gentle as ever today, looking even more tender surrounded by the Meow Meow Grass.
"Good afternoon, Miss Cat," Dark greeted her first.
Miss Cat set down the Meow Meow Grass she had been holding and rose to her feet. "Good afternoon, Dimon. I thought you would come tomorrow."
Dark said, "I happened to have some free time."
Miss Cat smiled. "All right, then. Did you bring the authorization letter?"
Dark turned to set down his backpack, took an authorization letter from inside, and handed it over.
"Let me see." Miss Cat accepted the letter, opened it, and examined it carefully. "Signed by Lily Laplace. Is she your Arithmetic Class professor?"
Dark nodded. "Yes. Could you take me to see that little lion now?"
"Of course." Miss Cat folded the authorization letter and tucked it into her pocket before turning toward her secret room.
