Diana suddenly noticed something blocking the light above her. She looked up and happened to spot the chocolate gift box.
Her eyes immediately widened. She abruptly raised both hands and forcefully clapped them toward the chocolate gift box, trying to catch it between them!
"Whoosh!"
But the gift box suddenly rose a little higher.
Her grab missed!
In an instant, a sharp glint flashed through Diana's eyes. "Double Clap!"
Smack!
The crisp sound was particularly distinct in the empty classroom.
Dark had prepared in advance. How could he let her catch it?
Smack!
Smack!
Another triple clap missed.
"Hmph!"
Diana finally puffed out her cheeks, clearly unhappy.
Dark quickly lowered the chocolate gift box and voluntarily placed it in her hands.
Diana closed all five fingers around it at once, gripping it tightly as her smile stretched wide.
"Hehe."
Rose turned halfway around and covered her mouth as she snickered.
Dark then took out her share as well and handed it to her.
When their eyes met, Rose's face flushed. She hurriedly snatched the chocolate and turned back around.
Then the two little girls quietly made V signs with their hands beneath the desk.
Clearly, their purpose in deliberately staying behind in the classroom had been achieved.
After delivering their chocolates, Dark took out Eudora's box as well. He calmly stepped out of his seat, crossed the aisle, and arrived beside Eudora's desk.
Then he placed the chocolate gift box on her desk and slowly pushed it toward her.
Only after Eudora turned to look at him did he say, "A thank-you gift."
Though it was only a "thank-you gift," Eudora was already extremely excited.
She looked up at Dark's face, then hurriedly lowered her head again. She swiftly reached out, grabbed the chocolate gift box, and held it tightly.
