Ancient prosperity and sealing

The Human World was once a premier cultivation realm: Spirit Spring water flowed through rivers, mountain stones were spirit jade, and cultivators could become immortals and ascend directly to the Immortal Realm without entering the Dimension Battlefield. 363 364

Hundreds of thousands of years ago, the Immortals coveted its complete Great Dao and abundant spiritual energy. Rather than wage a costly direct war, they established the Heaven-Locking Array across the world. Its nine core nodes were hidden among famous mountains and rivers, while the Eternal Clock served as its energy core. 363

When the array activated, it sealed the Human World's Great Dao, drained its spiritual energy into a dimension prison that later became the Dimension Battlefield, and devastated its cultivators, inheritances, and non-human races. 363

Decline and separation

The depleted Human World could only support incomplete cultivation, with the surviving Dao deliberately limited below the Martial God Realm. 363

The Path to Immortality later became known as a trap that sent Human World cultivators to the Dimension Battlefield as prey for alien races. After the Ten Great Kings ascended five thousand years earlier, no further Human World cultivators ascended until Lin Jiufeng. 91 165

Restoration

After the Eternal Clock was destroyed, the Heaven-Locking Array destabilized. The Master led resistance forces and refugees back through a passage to the Human World, while Lin Jiufeng brought tens of millions of Human Race cultivators out of his Inner Scenery Realm and resettled them in Kunlun. 362 364

The Master placed the Origin of the Human World into the world core, restoring the Great Dao of heaven and earth and causing spiritual energy to surge throughout the world. 369

The restored Human World subsequently became the front line against the invading Immortals and Leaders from the Dimension Battlefield. 370

Golden age

Following the war, the passage between the Human World and the Dimension Battlefield became a peaceful bridge rather than a source of catastrophe. 372
