Background / History

Thor was a mixed-heritage, bald young Martial Artist based in Southeast Base City. Before meeting Teng Qingshan, he primarily practiced Ancient Yoga but had also studied Chinese Internal Martial Arts—particularly Xingyi Fist. He was already a War God before turning 19 and served as one of Southeast Base City's principal defenders during the Monster Crisis. 48 52

His independently created Thunder Blade pursued extreme speed and ruthlessness. After developing its Six-Fold form, Thor helped relieve pressure on Southeast Base City, but his weapon could not decisively overcome the nearby Green-Scaled Flood Dragon, a monster approaching mid-level Lord rank. 52

Teng Qingshan killed the Flood Dragon, harvested its horn for Thor to forge into a saber, and then sparred with him. Teng easily repelled Thor's full-power strike and identified the flaw in Thunder Blade: it lacked a foundational conception. 53 54
