Hell, Bifu Continent, Liang'an Prefecture.
Above Tamojin Lake, as a massive metallic lifeform emerged, one figure after another appeared.
Dozens of figures quickly stepped out from within the metallic lifeform, hovering in mid-air and dividing into four distinct groups.
"Sss-sss~"
Following the sound of tearing skin, the members of the Four Divine Beasts Clan underwent transformations. Scales emerged on the skin of the Azure Dragon Clan members, and their hands morphed into dragon claws. Tiger stripes appeared on the skin of the White Tiger Clan members, and they let out a Tiger Roar. The bodies of the Black Tortoise Clan members suddenly swelled in size, while fiery red wings sprouted from the backs of the Vermilion Bird Clan members.
The nine figures standing at the very front radiated a terrifying sense of pressure. The green-haired man in the lead flew out directly, looked toward the surface of Tamojin Lake, and raised his hand to condense a blue orb of light before hurling it forward.
In an instant, the surrounding azure currents were hit by a powerful explosive shockwave, dissipating in the blink of an eye. The original azure mist was wiped away, and Tamojin Lake revealed its true, hazy golden hue.
"Heavens, are those the elders of the Four Divine Beasts Clan? There are so many of them—are they all Seven-Star Demons?" In the crowd of onlookers not far away, someone couldn't help but exclaim.
"That's nothing. Those nine figures in the front are all at the level of a Prefect!" A purple-haired youth gulped, his tone filled with admiration.
Although the Four Divine Beasts Clan acted in a domineering and arrogant manner, their strength was unfathomable. While there were those who hated and mocked their behavior, there were naturally those who envied and were jealous of them as well.
"You finally arrived!"
Ren moved, instantly appearing in mid-air. He floated a few hundred meters away from Gaiseresen, scanning the members of the Four Divine Beasts Clan with a cold gaze.
"You've got some nerve. You bullied my Four Divine Beasts Clan and still dared to stay here waiting for death."
Gaiseresen's tone was filled with mockery, and a hint of killing intent flickered in his eyes as he looked at Ren.
Ren didn't say much in response. The divine planes were places where the strong preyed on the weak. Although the Four Divine Beasts Clan was indeed overbearing, it would be pointless to argue about right and wrong. In the end, strength decided everything; he would let his actions do the talking.
"We can give you one chance: commit suicide. If you do, we can spare the people around you."
Gaiseresen smiled contemptuously, his tone dripping with sarcasm as he spoke nonchalantly, as if what he had just said was a great favor to Ren.
"Oh? Based on what? A mere Four Divine Beasts Clan?"
Ren sneered, a trace of anger in his voice. Although he had spent many years in Hell and seen all sorts of people, Gaiseresen still managed to make him laugh out of pure annoyance.
As children of Sovereigns, the way Gaiseresen and his peers conducted themselves was far inferior to the likes of Resjing. As a clan leader, his way of doing things was also significantly worse than Han Jin, the leader of the Augusta Clan.
"What a pity. Since you refuse our mercy, you will soon learn what it feels like to wish you were dead!" Gaiseresen shook his head slightly, speaking with a look of feigned regret.
"Hmph!"
Ren let out a cold snort. A pitch-black light flashed in his deep eyes, and the divine power within his body erupted instantly. In a split second, Ren moved.
"Hm? So fast? Oh no!"
Gaiseresen felt his vision blur for a moment. In the blink of an eye, Ren, who had been hundreds of meters away, was suddenly right in front of him, within arm's reach.
Gaiseresen quickly made his fastest response, erupting with ice-blue divine power. He retreated at full speed while simultaneously transforming his right hand into an Azure Dragon claw, raising it with all his might to block his chest.
However, the next second...
"BOOM!"
As a blue streak of light flashed, Gaiseresen plummeted like a meteor, smashing into the ground and creating a massive crater.
Silence. The entire scene remained silent for several seconds; it seemed no one could comprehend what had just happened.
"Big Brother!"
Gaia was the first to snap out of it, shouting toward the ground with a face full of worry.
"Cough, cough!"
Gaiseresen's figure leaped out of the deep crater. He looked somewhat disheveled; his right dragon claw had been pierced through, and a massive hole had appeared in his chest. Blood flowed continuously, and his long green hair was stained with streaks of crimson.
"How is this possible? How could his attack be this strong?" Gaiseresen's eyes were filled with disbelief. Although he didn't possess a Sovereign Artifact for material defense, he was the only son of the Azure Dragon Sovereign, and his physical strength was top-tier even among Asuras. He hadn't expected to be shattered by a single blow.
"What happened? That speed just now?"
Not far from Gaiseresen, the white-clad man, Partridge, recovered his senses. He looked at Ren with shock in his eyes. He had been the closest, yet he still hadn't seen how Ren had done it. This meant that if he had been the target, he wouldn't have been able to block it either.
Ren didn't give the others time to react. With a shift of his figure, he arrived beside Partridge in the next moment.
"Bad!" Partridge's expression changed instantly. He desperately channeled the divine power within his body, attempting to create distance. However, a powerful binding force suddenly acted upon him. Partridge felt as if he were stuck in a quagmire, his movements slowing down significantly.
"BANG!"
Partridge had only just managed to raise his arms to his chest when, under Ren's punch, his body was sent flying backward at high speed. He flew hundreds of meters before he could barely stabilize himself.
"A Sovereign Artifact for material defense?"
Ren gave a light hum of surprise. Seeing Partridge, who had been sent flying but remained uninjured, he wasn't particularly surprised. After all, the envoys of the Four Divine Beasts Sovereigns were bound to have a Sovereign Artifact. Although his strength was formidable, he lacked the physical body of Linley and found it difficult to kill an Asura through a Sovereign Artifact.
However, this wasn't a problem for Ren. A cold glint flashed in his eyes, and two translucent Azure Light Sword Shadows shot out from his pupils, rushing into Partridge's body at a speed the naked eye couldn't track.
Soul attack--Azure Light Sword Shadow!
"Oh no!" Partridge reacted quickly, immediately drawing upon the Sovereign Power of Fate within his body.
"Sss~"
A white halo erupted from Partridge's skin, and powerful energy instantly dissipated into the heavens and earth. Inside his spiritual sea, the Sovereign Power formed a massive white beam of light that lunged toward the Azure Light Sword Shadow, barely managing to block it by combining with his soul power.
"Sovereign Power, is it?"
Ren paused his movements, choosing not to continue his pursuit of Partridge, and instead turned his head to look at the others.
"Die!"
Accompanied by a roar that shook the heavens and the earth, a massive phantom of a White Tiger manifested behind Gus, and a peculiar energy surged toward Ren, a powerful soul shock impacting the interior of his sea of consciousness.
Innate Divine Ability—Tiger Roar!
"Hum!"
Gus erupted with a cyan halo; the moment Gaiseresen was sent flying, he had already channeled the wind-style Sovereign Power. At this moment, Gus's hands transformed into white tiger claws, lunging toward Ren's head at extreme speed.
"Hmph!"
Inside the sea of consciousness, the energy of the Tiger Roar merely surged for a moment before dissipating entirely. Ren let out a cold snort, his right hand shifting from a fist to a palm, and he raised it to collide directly with Gus's tiger claws. Instantly, the space shattered, creating a massive rift, and Gus felt a terrifying force that sent his body involuntarily retreating a significant distance.
"How is this possible? His strength is actually this immense? And why did my innate divine ability have no effect?"
Gus stared at his right hand, the tiger claw shattered and revealing traces of blood, and then at Ren, who remained completely unscathed after taking his innate divine ability head-on, his entire being left in a daze.
