Background / History

Linley was born in Wushan Town as an ordinary human rather than a descendant of the Four Divine Beasts Clan. An ancient ring hidden in his family estate—the Azure Dragon Sovereign's soul-defense Sovereign Artifact—eventually came into his possession. His blood accidentally activated it after an eighth-rank mage attacked the town. He later entered the continent's foremost magic academy due to his exceptional elemental affinities. 132

His parents' deaths shaped his early life. Hogg died while investigating Lina's circumstances, leaving Linley a letter; after graduating, Linley investigated their deaths and was imprisoned by the Light Pope. 132

After becoming a God, Linley established the Linley Principality, married Delia, and had children. At Beirut's suggestion, he traveled to Hell with Delia and Bebe. 134
