History

The Four Divine Beasts Clan was once a major power with branches throughout the four Higher Planes and seven Divine Planes. Its reputation remained formidable even after its decline. 178 119

Ten thousand years before Garen's arrival, a major change caused the branches from other planes to gather in Azure Prefecture. The clan subsequently endured a prolonged siege by the Eight Great Clans and was confined to the Tianji Mountain Range. 179 181

Despite its reduced circumstances, the clan retained a large force of High-level God soldiers, Seven-Star Fiend elders, and several Asura-level leaders. Its members continued to identify strongly with their divine-beast heritage and the glory of their ancestors. 179 180 188

Ancestral Hall Baptism

The Ancestral Hall Baptism is a central rite for members of the Four Divine Beasts Clan and its returning branches.

Innate Divine Abilities

The clan's four divine-beast bloodlines possess inherited abilities that cannot be conventionally learned or replicated.

• The White Tiger Clan's Innate Divine Ability is a material attack with spatial properties. 184
• Garen's Tiger Roar can bypass ordinary interception and reach a target directly through space within his sensed range; he extended it to one hundred miles by using the System Map. 184
• Ordinary White Tiger clansmen generally have a much shorter ability range, from several hundred meters to roughly a thousand meters; even powerful members normally do not exceed several miles. 184

Conflict with the Eight Great Clans

The Eight Great Clans surrounded and suppressed the Four Divine Beasts Clan for more than ten thousand years. Their forces were organized across Azure Prefecture, communicated through Death God Puppets, and included numerous Seven-Star Fiends and Asura-level clan leaders. 181 187 189

Garen's arrival changed the balance of power. After he, Linley, and their companions demonstrated several unknown Asura-level combatants, the Four Divine Beasts Clan recognized them as the means to break the stalemate. 186 187 188

Huaxia Faction Alliance

Garen offered to help eliminate or expel the Eight Great Clans on the condition that the Four Divine Beasts Clan join the Huaxia Faction. 188

• Gaisesen accepted after securing Garen's promise to treat ordinary clansmen well and publicly acknowledge himself and Linley as members of the Four Divine Beasts Clan. 189

Counteroffensive

The clan launched a coordinated assault against the Wenna Clan, Barbary Family, Aldric Clan, and Ashcroft Clan, while the White Tiger Clan provided rapid-response support. 191

• Garen killed the Underworld Serpent Ancestor and Aldric, while the Black Tortoise Grand Elder killed the Barbary Family's Asura-level powerhouse. 193
