At twelve, Garen discovers a system in his mind after attempting the Qi-Gathering Stance. Its initial gift pack provides a Space Ring, steel blade, leather armor, Wind-element super-grade talent card, and ten thousand gold coins. Seeing the injuries his father Clark sustained as a warrior convinces him that strength is necessary for survival 1.

During a caravan ambush, Garen detects approaching bandits with the system map and warns the guards. After killing a level 4 bandit, he awakens as a Tiger-Striped Warrior. The battle costs the life of Luke, a paternal mentor figure, leaving Garen determined to become strong enough to protect others 6.

He studies warrior techniques and wind/fire magic at Ernst Institute, then develops his abilities through repeated expeditions into the Magical Beast Mountain Range. His hunting, equipment upgrades, and Law comprehension steadily turn him into a Saint Realm powerhouse 8 11 14 32.
