Eve was created by Cassandra as an Artificial Genius intended to break the Crown Clan's Bloodline Lock, which prevents descendants of the King of Absurdity from advancing beyond Grand Wizard. Cassandra enhanced Eve's unborn body with an Opulence Authority Card, but the intervention ultimately contributed to the rules-level backlash known as Magic Devour. 308 433 437

Magic Devour left Eve unable to meditate normally or cast spells despite possessing an immense innate magic pool, exceptional magical sensitivity, and extraordinary mental control. Isolated for much of her childhood, she redirected her efforts into theoretical research, wizard history, Otherworld knowledge, and mental-power techniques. 268 270

At fourteen, Eve proposed a Knowledge Exchange with Ron Ralph: she would provide restricted knowledge and teach mental-power control, while Ron's unusually pure Primal Wizard Bounty would help stabilize her condition.
