Background / History
Nari is an ancient Abyssal Apostle who spent thousands of years alone in the Abyss. Her nature as Innate Chaos gave her immense destructive power but left her consciousness disordered and difficult to stabilize. Her attempts to create subordinates repeatedly failed: one wizard’s mind collapsed when exposed to fragments of her chaotic consciousness, while another escaped after seventy-three days and destroyed one of her treasured music boxes. These failures deepened her isolation and despair. 352
Cha Ye treated Nari as a useful pawn rather than an equal, dismissing both her wishes and her attachment to the mysterious Decoy Puppet. 360 365 Nari nevertheless became deeply attached to the puppet after receiving it, feeding it Abyssal creatures and rare materials while treating it as her child. 354 357
Her bond with Ron transformed this isolation into a family relationship. Ron accepted her tentacled form and contamination rather than rejecting her as a monster, while Nari provided protection, resources, and a secure environment for his rituals and research. 379 The feedback from Ron’s Magic Sword and their deep mental link stabilized her mind, allowing her to consciously shape chaos rather than merely unleash it. 382
After rising against the Supreme Apostles, Nari defeated and absorbed Cha Ye and Agatha, reclaiming power from those who had once exploited her. 678 Her later metamorphosis, triggered by the awakening of “Mother,” raised her to the Quasi Wizard King level while preserving her individual identity through Ron, Ascelia, and Senluo’s intervention. 681 683
Appearance
Nari’s true form is a colossal ancient being with innumerable tentacles and eyes. She commonly maintains a painful human disguise because she wishes to please Ron. 412
- A vast tentacled body centered within a Chaos Storm or deep-sea domain. 382 384
- Originally possessed hundreds of randomly arranged, flickering eyes; after stabilization, they formed harmonious geometric patterns. 382
- During her Quasi Wizard King metamorphosis, her eyes reduced to roughly a dozen brighter, deeper eyes and her tentacles merged into a more refined form. 683
- Her body contains specialized internal structures, including life bladders connected to her Energy Core. 383
- A past accident polluted one of her tentacles with dark-red markings, causing lasting self-reproach. 412
Personality
Nari is emotionally intense, affectionate, and deeply insecure about being perceived as a monster. Though feared as an Apostle, she longs to be understood, accepted, and needed as family. Ron’s acceptance of her true form and maternal devotion is central to her emotional stability. 379 412
Her care for Ron is protective to the point of possessiveness. She supplies him with laboratories, training environments, materials, gifts, and emergency intervention, while struggling to let him take risks independently. 412 416 508 She can be cheerful and childlike when praised, especially regarding her creations or new skills. 597 659
When Ron is threatened, Nari becomes cold, calculating, and exceptionally ruthless. Her improved sanity allows her to conceal information about him, assess tactical risks, and use her power with surgical precision. 384 501
Abilities & Skills
Innate Chaos
Nari’s defining power is Chaos Essence, which can reshape local rules and reconcile conflicting forces.
- Rewrites or distorts local reality, including terrain, spell effects, and environmental structures. 382 413
- Creates Chaos Storms that block reconnaissance, trap enemies, and interfere with teleportation or phase shifting. 376 384
- Reshapes matter into structures such as palaces and living-crystal architecture. 404
- Harmonizes incompatible energies, making her essential to Ron’s multi-system experiments and Sunwalker project. 422 659
- Her innate instability was once a fundamental weakness; Ron’s influence greatly improved her control. 382 413
Tentacle of Pollution
Nari can corrupt, bind, dissect, and destroy targets through specialized tentacles.
- Ron enhanced this ability using the Demonic Sword, amplifying its corrupting power. 383
- Severely wounded Morgulon, forcing him and Selina to retreat. 384
- Drains an Apostle’s origin directly, as demonstrated against Cha Ye. 678
- Can bind and isolate enemies through tentacle nets and containment fields. 501
Concept Binding and Void Trait
After absorbing Mags’s Void Trait, Nari incorporated Void properties into her Chaos Essence.
- Gains Concept Binding abilities through her tentacle network. 422
- Uses Void-influenced Chaos Power that is more diverse and unpredictable than her original Chaos fluctuations. 422
- Developed binding methods by analyzing Mags’s abilities. 501
Mental and Historical Projection Intervention
Nari can act through Ron’s bloodline and mental connections, including within historical or mental spaces.
- Responds to Ron’s emergency summons through the Magic Sword. 501
- Invaded Sarin’s Historical Projection Space and neutralized her Psychic Storm. 501
- Separates a target’s memory, emotion, and knowledge with precise control, allowing Ron to retain purified useful knowledge. 501
- Warns Ron that memories remain vulnerable to contamination even after purification. 501
Alchemy and Material Listening
Nari learns through direct intuitive communion with materials rather than conventional theory.
- “Listens” to ingredients’ preferences and transforms them into potions. 587
- Created original potions including Nebula Potion and Starlight Dew. 587 597
- Restored Abyssal Crystals’ starlike qualities by helping them “recall” their original state. 597
- Ron calls her an “Alchemy Sage.” 597
