Sakura is initially an inconspicuous, socially anxious Class D student who hides behind glasses and loose school clothing. Privately, she enjoys taking and posting revealing self-portraits, but fears that her classmates would reject or shun her if they learned of this hobby. 13 15

Xia Mu discovers her photographing herself near the school rockery and initially threatens to expose the images. After using his advanced photography skill to take pictures she considers far better than her own, he offers to photograph her and keep her secret. Sakura agrees, both because he holds compromising images and because she wants a genuine friend. 13 15

Through repeated shoots and Xia Mu's demands that she confront others' opinions, Sakura gradually becomes more willing to show herself without glasses and interact with classmates. Her Correction progress reaches 70% after she follows his request to remove her glasses at school, drawing widespread attention from classmates. 16 27

When her camera breaks, Sakura is sent alone to deal with a shop clerk. The clerk later pursues and attacks her, but Xia Mu intervenes, calls the police, and reassures her. This incident completes her Correction progress and raises her favorability toward Xia Mu to 100%. 33 34
