Background / History

Xia Mu is a transmigrator from Huaxia who arrives at Advanced Nurturing High School with a system that records skills from videos and books, upgrades them with Skill Points, and assigns Correction missions involving other students. Though his file lists academic ability and intelligence at A+ level, he is placed in Class D. He enters the school alongside his longtime friend Zhu Xincheng, who is assigned to Class C. 1 3

At the start of school, Xia Mu records and initiates Wing Chun after Yamauchi Haruki provokes him. He disregards Chabashira Sae's orientation while studying the skill, establishing his indifference toward ordinary school rules and expectations. 1

He discovers that his system can also turn academic material into skills, mastering the first-year curriculum in the library. This leads to his first significant connection at school: Shiina Hiyori approaches him after noticing his extraordinary reading speed. 4

Xia Mu later identifies the system's Correction function through Kikyo Kushida.
