It had been almost four months, and I had finally finished the first book I'd written since entering the industry. First, I wanted to thank all the esteemed readers who supported me.
I knew that many parts of the book had been less than satisfactory, and there were also out-of-character moments. I had nothing to say about that. After all, I was the one who wrote it, and my lack of experience couldn't change the established fact that it hadn't been written well enough.
By the later parts of this book, it was probably obvious that I had run out of ideas and inspiration. I had never written something of this length before, didn't have a detailed outline, and failed to keep it under control.
It was the kind of situation where I had a general idea of where the later plot should go, but once I started writing, I didn't know what else there was to write. No matter how I wrote it, it always felt like something was missing.
But I felt that, if only for Teacher Egg Yolk, I had to finish this book. Although it was very rushed, I had to give it a proper ending.
As for this ending, don't argue with me about it. If you argue, you're right. I'm not in the mood to debate it.
There were actually some other plotlines, but they were rather fragmented, such as those involving Sanzi and Haozi. I'll probably post them later as bonus chapters.
Regarding that punk and Tang Hao, all I can say is that I felt neither of them deserved Danheng taking action personally. But what I wrote failed to achieve the effect I wanted.
I got into this line of work because I had no other choice. Really, I had no other
