Arc 57The Buddha Pagoda Trap

Chen Changsheng’s Golden Age Gathering became a deadly contest inside the Buddha Pagoda, where rival powers wagered on the trapped prodigies and Follow the Heart’s release. The pagoda was destroyed in the ensuing battle, leaving the survivors buried beneath the wreckage as Chen Changsheng confronted someone nearby.

  • Chen Changsheng announced the Golden Age Gathering in Avici World to draw out Follow the Heart and named Chen Feng as his chosen successor for the challenges.
  • The prodigies entered the Buddha Pagoda to seek Follow the Heart and the Water Book Fragment, while Liu Yidao warned them that the gathering was a trap and the factions were treating them as expendable pieces.
  • Chen Xiao, Xu Qianzhui, and Ruan Su Xian realized the pagoda was a cage designed to draw Dao Protectors into a deadly clash, but the sealed exits prevented their escape.

Arc 58The Water Realm Clinic

Chen Changsheng guided the younger generation through dangerous cultivation choices while preparing for the coming Dark Turmoil. He opened a clinic in the Water Realm, helped prodigies confront their injuries and convictions, and left Xu Qianzhui and Jun Lin considering the paths ahead.

  • Chen Changsheng spared Follow the Heart after learning he had acted as a whetstone, then helped Liu Yidao survive the mark left by their battle.

Arc 60The Mortal World Trial

  • Liu Yidao agreed to stake Bai Zhi’s punishment on a trial with Xu Qianzhui, while Bai Zhi confronted Murong Xing Shuang and was left questioning his path.
