Meanwhile, Chen Changsheng challenged Baturu and began showing Chen Xiao a possible way beyond the limits of body cultivation.

• Lu Jin approved Ling Dao and the other Children of the Forbidden Ground as officials, then sent Ruan Su Xian and Chen Xiao to investigate Wumei Town, where the prodigies planned to kill Xu Qianzhui.
• Chen Changsheng forced the North Sea Heavenly Emperor to choose a side in the coming conflict, entrusted Wang Zhigao with handling him, and revealed an ancient person sealed inside a Wooden Sculpture.
• Jun Lin took Wu Yang to Wumei Town with his group, while Chen Changsheng confronted Bai Zhi over her fate and Wang Hao over his guilt.
